The floor height was unexpectedly high, but there was a correspondingly wonderful view from the roof terrace on the top floor. Staff friendly and competent. Very helpful.

Very nice holiday apartments including a kitchen in an antique building with very high ceilings. The reception is in the hotel next door.

The apartment itself did not impress me, and I think it even disappointed me. Quite small, quite dark, with an ugly wall with incomprehensible aesthetics. There was a kitchenette and an expectation that the dishes would be washed or there would be an additional service fee. We haven't used it, but I don't like this approach.The place itself is well located, reception service is at a good level. Polite and professional. There is space for bicycles, although bringing a bicycle to the bicycle basement is a task for very athletic guests.

It's a shame how one can devalue a historically and structurally great property so much through furnishings. A mix of different woods, no color concept - simply “just” renting out space. I almost laid down when I entered the bathroom (2nd floor - Apt8), on a 10 cm high step. Otherwise the size, cleanliness and the bed were fine. What was annoying was that in addition to the “total price, without hidden costs” from booking.com, there were additional costs for accommodation tax. For me it's not necessarily about the 4 EUR. Only my accounting would have a real task...

The room alternative ultimately offered forced us to make many compromises and restrictions. We had planned our Christmas holidays differently! And service looks different to me!

We are very annoyed! Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Thick layer of dust, dirty floor. For that much money it's worth zero. The only good thing is the location. But other than that, nothing more. If you go to the repetition and what the hell, nothing happens. Very bad. There are better accommodations here in Stralsund! It's not romantic or anything!!!!! Preferably zero stars here for! We don't come here anymore! We don't recommend anyone either.

Perfect location in a quiet, pretty side street in the middle of the old town, not far from the harbor. There is a lockable bicycle cellar in the inner courtyard - but the inner courtyard itself also seemed to be very safe. Very friendly young employee who helped us with the bikes and our luggage. Cozy room. Not entirely clean in detail (cobwebs, shower door seal & black spots on the tile joints). Duvets way too hot for summer, pillows too big for the pillow case. Box spring beds comfortable. Price-performance ratio very good.No elevator due to monument protection. I found the sign in the kitchen uncharming, stating that a fee of 50 euros (!) will be charged if the garbage is not disposed of in the bins in the courtyard and the dishes are not washed and completely put away again. I do that anyway – but I could avoid the threat of a fine if I forget to put 1 jar back on the shelf. The outside staircase led past our two room windows to two other rooms. If you want a little more privacy, you should take this into account when booking. Semi-transparent curtains (in addition to the completely blackout ones) would be quite nice here.

As a guest, how can I say “I think we booked next door, but we have to check in here” (if you book the Old Swedish Consulate aparthotel, you check in at the Romantikhotel next door, sorry after a 10-hour journey I wasn’t quite sure about this fact anymore ). “Do you believe or do you know?” is not an adequate greeting in a hotel (and certainly not in this price category). I think there is still room for a feeling of welcome. As a guest, I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable if I have to think about my PIN for a moment. "Oh, now you don't know your PIN" is also (I don't want to list all the irritating comments) completely unnecessary.Stralsund is a beautiful city, the bookstore around the corner is a gem and the “Nor:tisch” opposite is a beautiful café with lunch and very friendly service (you can drink delicious coffee there and perhaps be inspired by how others do it, that guests simply do it). happy to come back).

This apartment hotel is affiliated with the Hotel “Scheelehof”. This is located right next door with its reception.The parking situation on site does not allow you to park in front of the hotel. There is a parking garage 5 minutes walk away for which you pay a hotel price of €12 per day.The apartments are sufficiently large, with a kitchen and the basic equipment (including plates, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine), a modern bathroom, carpet and television.You can sleep relaxed with the window open with a great view of the old monastery.There is also a restaurant, a bar/pub and a coffee roastery attached to the hotel.Stralsund is definitely worth a trip, but you have to see for yourself.

Attention, fine! The only place in front of the hotel to load the car is a fire department entrance. The local public order office shows no mercy and immediately imposes a warning fine of €55. The hotel staff is completely indifferent. No information is given about the problem. The only two parking spaces in front of the hotel are occupied by the hotel's own staff. They laugh their heads off at the tourist, who is relieved by the high-ranking Stralsund law enforcement officers. How should you pack your luggage into the vehicle here? Thank you for this first lasting impression! We definitely won't be coming back!

We stayed here at the hotel for one night and were very satisfied. You get the information in advance that check-in takes place right next door at the Romantik Hotel, and everything worked out wonderfully. The lady at check-in was very friendly and made our arrival really pleasant. The hotel works with the Am Hafen car park, which is why you only pay €10 per day for the parking space. This is really good because it is really difficult to find a parking space in the old town. So it's best to stand directly in the parking garage before checking in and take your parking ticket with you. Since we didn't arrive until the evening, we were able to relax and leave the car there the next morning to discover Stralsund. Our room was in a backyard, really spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Since the room also had a small kitchen, you can easily stay here for several days. The location is of course perfect, so we can only recommend the hotel!

We spontaneously booked a room in the Old Swedish Consulate for one night.The reception was super friendly and quick. The ambience of the rooms is exceptional and the beds were comfortable. Only because breakfast was a bit too expensive for us personally, but that would certainly have been very good. The big breakfast at the Frötsch pastry shop is a good alternative.
