We came here because of the good reviews. Unfortunately it didn't convince us. The food was carelessly “prepared” on the plate, there was a bit of green missing. We have also eaten the food itself better. We were disappointed, but it was cheap.

Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment for me, there was a smell in the room (waste or I don't know what), it was resolved that we bought a scent for the room. The pool was great, unfortunately not maintained (corrected after agreement with the owner), there were no sunbeds, so I recommend taking a blanket. Otherwise, everything is nice, the restaurant is great, the environment too. If the owner cared more, then there is nothing wrong with it.

Disappointment with the manager's actions. When booking, he promised half board, including breakfast. The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday, so there was no cooking without breakfast and half board. It would require more helpfulness and willingness from the manager. If you want to turn on the stove, it costs CZK 50. I have never met such an attitude. Very bad access to the pool.

The best raspberry lemonade I've ever had. Prices from 120-290 CZK, with the exception of 550 CZK for a huge portion of food, but really huge. The service is very pleasant. Soups are mega yummy, Czech cuisine is also popular abroad, so even Czech boomers can eat their fill. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT!! 10/10. Food: really great 10/10

A wonderful place that has its own genius loci. The apartment we stayed in for one night was located in a magical garden. The restaurant cooks ordinary dishes, but they are really delicious. I really didn't think I would ever say this, but I really liked the fried potato here. And it wasn't because I had 20km in my legs. There is a very tasteful interior and great seating.

Very rustic restaurant with a good selection of food. Nice service and super fast. Cozy and also very inviting for children. Outdoor play options. Price performance is totally right. We'll be back next week. The place is geared towards tourists and is waiting to be discovered.

We are often in Scalna but this is the first time in this restaurant. It was recommended to us under the name “The Stork’s Nest”. The service was very friendly, the food was extremely good and the prices were fair. You can also take a short walk after eating. Everything is very well maintained.

All wonderful! Good food, drinks and very nice service. The only negative is the inability to pay by card. But that is difficult almost everywhere in this region, even in Františkové lázně, in Aš and the surrounding area. Otherwise, very pleasant seating, outdoor playground for children. Just great. We didn't have time to take pictures of the glasses and the pancake, they disappeared right away! 😉😁😁

An actually very nice restaurant. With winter garden and covered beer garden including playground. There are enough parking spaces available. Everything well maintained. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. Empty glasses at the table over there always attract visitors and are annoying somewhere. The fact that a meal was forgotten wasn't actually that bad. Can happen. The food was okay, but lackluster. Other restaurants in Wildstein can do that better!!! Unfortunately no more 3 stars.

This review refers to the restaurant, not to the guesthouse offering.Conclusion first: I've eaten better in the Czech Republic. A lot of things here come from the deep fryer, are "breaded to death" (see Samuel L. Jackson, "The 51st State"), pretty run-of-the-mill food. There are no side salads for many (all?) of the dishes, unfortunately their separate salad selection doesn't make much difference, and the kitchen staff don't know anything about seasoning either. My companion was served a sauce with his steak that clearly had too many roasted flavors; the sauce was miserably bitter.The service is somewhat positive, but 2 waiters served us that evening and they probably didn't agree. Sausage, these are little things that, as far as I'm concerned, have no influence on the perfect price-performance ratio. You can take it with you if you regularly visit the Czech Republic. :D
