I spent one night here and have to write two reviews. The first concerns the restaurant. I think the price/performance ratio is very good. The portions are huge and the price is fair. I had the Bavarian crusted roast: two large slices of roast, very tender meat in a well-seasoned gravy, with two perfect, homemade dumplings with rolls in the middle and chives on top, plus a delicious coleslaw with not too much and not too little caraway . I paid twenty-three euros for the meal and the two Helles that I drank with it. I found that really cheap. Now the review of the hotel: the room is nice, new, good bed with nice bed linen, nice wallpaper, everything harmoniously coordinated in color. The room door makes very loud noises when closing and locking, you can hear it quite loudly when guests go in or out of the room. . The heating didn't work, it was freezing cold in the room. The staff was nice and helpful. I think the location is good because you can get to Munich quickly, but you can really enjoy the countryside here. Conclusion: Great food, nice rooms, romantic beer garden. Gladly again.

We were there as a family with a dog on vacation and we really liked it. The rooms were large, clean (even if there was a cobweb, but everyone in the house has them) and we had enough space. The breakfast was completely OK (it was a bit spread out, but everything you needed was there), you asked for scrambled/fried eggs and if breakfast was served until 10 a.m. it was enough... If you had something (if the house was fully occupied). If you come later you have to take what is still there or just ask if there is anything else.We often ate in the dining room and found the menu and price/performance to be completely OK.The only thing that was a bit inappropriate was the clothing of the breakfast staff and the kitchen... That could be a bit neater/appropriate.

Great place! We stopped by, but left very pleasant impressions. The room is clean, cozy, good beds, slept great. Very atmospheric restaurant. We had a delicious dinner, the portions are huge, the beer is unsurpassed. Breakfast was paid for separately, the assortment is sufficient to satisfy any taste. We recommend! A great place for family vacations.

We were there on Sunday and we had käsespätzle, jägerschnitzel and Bavarian crusted roast with dumplings.Regarding the portions: they were really big and the price was reasonable too!The cheese slices were super tasty and the cheese stretched out nicely!Jägerschnitzel was nice and tender, the sauce was delicious as were the friesThe crusty roast with the dumplings, the meat was tender and juicy, the consistency of the dumplings was fine, they were homemade. We were very satisfied.I can't say anything about the rooms! Not the ambience inside either because it was just too warm! It was quite cozy and well-kept outside.

We stayed with a group of six people for one night in three double rooms. I can't say much about the others' rooms, our room was extremely large and everything was OK, only the whirlpool didn't work.Unfortunately I was dissatisfied with the service. Breakfast was served on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Shortly after 9 a.m. there were no more rolls and around 9:30 a.m. the toast and yoghurt were put away and all the other guests were already finished. Unfortunately we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else, they just put it away. Coffee was also out and I then said to myself I wouldn't ask, I would rather give an appropriate assessment of what I was doing with this. The WiFi password was only given after repeated requests; no information about it could be found in the rooms.

Update 04/11/24: We can only rate our two rooms, not the others. That's why we rewrote the beginning of the recession:We had a pretty run-down room and a breakfast menu that was really subpar. It was available for €12 per person- a tiny selection- cold (and then warmed up in the microwave) filter coffee.Update 04/11/24:The operator's answers are not all correct. The coffee was warmed up in the kitchen and we were not offered anything. We would have liked to have scrambled eggs with bacon. But the “service” person didn’t ask any questions or approach us. She spent more time in the kitchen and made her own big plate of breakfast and put it at a table. The service staff wasn't the friendliest.Very noisy environment until late at night (on a Friday) plus a super loud tower clock.Beds smelled and creaked loudly when you turned over while lying down.Update 04/11/24Of course the operator can't do anything about the surrounding noise. Nevertheless, you should know this as a potential guest. The bathtub was a seated tub and much too small for a 185cm tall guy like me. The sinks are installed at a height of less than 100cm and are far too small for two hands. We (family with small children) will definitely never go there again.

2020: A month ago I picked up food for my family here. The ordering was a bit chaotic as there was no "To Go" menu and the dishes were available upon request. Unfortunately, the first no-go when I picked it up: the cook's mask wasn't pulled over her nose, which is exactly how I was charged. That's simply not possible in times like these - hygiene is a must. The food itself was very carelessly prepared and the taste was not what my family and I expected. I had a grill plate and the only thing I liked was the turkey steak. Also a clear no-go for the price. I'd rather pay 5 euros more at other restaurants in the area and get a tasty meal. The children and my partner didn't like the food either. For these reasons - lack of care in terms of hygiene, loveless food, taste not ok for us - I cannot recommend the restaurant.Dear owners, please ensure that your employees at least wear the masks correctly. A functioning hygiene concept, a little more love in preparation and quality would help you look much better.Update 2024:* Edit: corrected spelling errors and grammar* The owners are trying to have the review deleted through lawyers on the grounds that there is no business relationship: "My client denies customer contact."Google location history provided as proof.
