The hotel is in a good location for Olympia Park, English Garden, Allianz Arena. Parking underground car park 22 euros for 1 day quite expensive. Chaos at breakfast around 9:30 a.m. (Saturday). A lot of things are empty, there are long queues at coffee machines and cold drinks. Clearing the tables was a bit slow, so there was a lack of space. Room and bathroom great. Check-in and check-out ok.

Would rate room 406 5 stars if the carpet from the Oktoberfest was cleaned. Service is top. Breakfast is great. We would love to come back.

We spent three nights here.Standard Hotel with Standard breakfast. Parking in front of the hotel possible for free, first come first serve. Parking garage is available. We didn't needed it so I do not know the prices. Bar is 24/7 treated by receptionist, so no problem there. If you book to Wiesn please have in mind you have to wait longer and there might be some beverages sold out. It is not very central, but you have the Buses very near to get to the Ubahn. Alltogether 20/25 minutes far to city. Depends on traffic and what time you are on the way. We would book again.

The Holiday Inn Express Munich North is a modern business hotel, functionally furnished, and the rooms have at least 4 USB charging sockets. Staff very friendly, breakfast with everything your heart desires. Only the parking situation is somewhat limited. After some searching, I found a parking garage on Weimarer Str. next to the Star Inn Hotel.

The hotel itself is nice, the only difficulty I see for some people is that some of the staff only speak English.There are hardly any free parking spaces on site, ultimately as a guest you actually have to park in the underground car park and I think €22 for one night is a bit excessive.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and well pointed rooms. Quite a way out of Munich centre, but buses and U-bahn within walking distance. Group tickets for travel are superb value

**Not recommended – poor service**We booked the hotel for 2 days during Oktoberfest and were unfortunately very disappointed. The hotel was completely overwhelmed by the entire situation.The drama started at breakfast. It was so crowded that we couldn't get a seat for minutes. The organization seemed chaotic and understaffed.Things weren't any better in the bar in the evening. We asked for a Red Bull only to be told there were none left. Five minutes later another guest gets exactly what we were denied - a Red Bull. Absolutely incomprehensible and annoying.As we were sitting in the bar area, an employee came with the vacuum cleaner and asked us to get up because he had to vacuum right there. This definitely shouldn't happen when guests just want to sit there and relax. A real no-go!Even simple snacks like chips and sweets were sold out.However, the absolute highlight came when checking out. As is usual in many hotels, we wanted to store our luggage in one room so that we could enjoy the day in Munich. However, we were refused to leave our luggage there because the room was supposedly too full and it would take too long to find the suitcases again. An impudence.Unfortunately, this hotel is not recommended. The service is terrible and the staff overwhelmed. We're definitely not coming back.

The hotel room was dirty when we came. Make-up smeared on the furniture and carpet. People struggling to find a seat at breakfast even at 7am. They had barely any selections of snacks, no snack store or vending. If you asked for a snack, they were out. Same with the drinks. Asked for redbull and many times were told no then another employee says yes and gives a redbull. The bar service was a joke because there was never a person there consistently serving. The 2 male barkeeps were friendly though when they were available. They have pancakes for breakfast and offer syrup even on the menu card. However, when we asked for syrup, we were told it was only available for guests on Saturdays??? This was a Thursday. How can that even be possible… We checked out on time and then when we asked to leave our suite cases we were told no. It’s full. “You’re not the only guests here”. We explained we fly late tonight and will be all day in Munich. He asked if we could them our bags in our car and we said no we have flew here. We have no car. Like we originally explained. They said there are 600 guests and we’re not the only ones. We are stuck with our suitcases and backpacks for the whole day in Munich. I really like the holiday inn hotels but this one was the worst by far. Horrible horrible experience. It’s a big NO from me.

No room service was done even when the DND tag was removed after 10 am. Rooms are not that appealing and clean either.

Room 2 upon arrival. Cup and pillow were missing, as well as iron.Shampoo empty, stains next to the toilet, cosmetic bin without a lid and splattered on the outside.After complaining to reception everything was resolved. Read the sign next to reception!Rooms are only cleaned from the second day onwards.We came from the thermal baths, thinking the rooms and beds were made. That's why I don't go to the hotel to make beds myself.And be careful!! I forgot a pair of shoes (sketchers), called right after I left and they were gone. Nothing associated with the hotel must not be thrown away!Were in Munich for the third time this year, will go again, but a different hotel.

Rooms quite good except for small things in the bathroom. Payment in cash not possible. The room price must be paid in advance by credit card. You can only pay for the parking garage at the end. You only get the bill at the end. To leave the underground car park you always need a ticket from reception. You actually have to go to reception all the time and have to wait a lot. Stupid. Oh yes, the scrambled eggs taste poor at breakfast. The worst thing I've eaten so far. Too bad
