Unfortunately, the youth hostel is very out of the way, you have to walk about 10 minutes to the next bus stop and from there it takes some time to get to the (inner) city. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The room was okay but not particularly clean.

The youth hostel is far from the city center and is located on a mountain. The bed linen is not comfortable and there are stains on the mattress. The floor in the rooms is very dirty and in our room you couldn't open the windows enough to get anything (only a small gap) because they were locked with chains. The staff didn't seem particularly friendly and there are no sports facilities such as. Soccer field, basketball hoops… Only a table tennis table in the basement and one outside. The food wasn't tasty and the tomato sauce tasted very watery... There were stink bugs in our classmates' rooms. The WiFi is available but not good and very slow. Many rooms also don't have toilets, so you had to use the shared toilets. There are only two sockets in a room for 6 people, one is directly above the sink which makes it dangerous to use and the other is next to the door and you can't put your cell phone anywhere because the socket is too high.Would definitely NOT recommend it and recommend that anyone who comes here take room freshener with them.

A very friendly welcome, the rooms were clean and tidy. Nothing extraordinary, but the location is great. In the middle. I can recommend...

Bloody sheets, hair in the shower, mold on the walls and dirty floors! 90€ was a waste for sleeping twice on a “mattress” placed on a tension plate! I think the beds in prison are more comfortable and they are definitely cleaner! + Parking fees are additional. So I'm absolutely horrified that there's a note in the room saying it was cleaned today... Please save your money. We all don't feel comfortable here. It makes everything itch just thinking about it again.

Bad stay! The rooms are small, not much choice of food. The location is almost on top of the mountain next to a swimming pool that makes a lot of noise during supper. I was at camp there and our bus received a complaint from the residents that we were no longer allowed to drive up. Afterwards we found out that someone committed suicide in the hotel. There were cockroaches and flies everywhere in our room. Because we didn't get a fly screen. The rooms are also not clean. If I could I would even give it 0 stars. We ate fries 3 days in a row. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INN!!!

This J.H. is a complete waste of money. If I could I would give negative stars, unfortunately that's not possible 😕The staff was above average unfriendly, the food tasted like it was from 2003 and the cleanliness of the bed linen was comparable to a garbage dump. Put like that, unfortunately even an understatement. After being there, you're afraid you'll have food poisoning. There's no need to even talk about the packed lunch...To be honest, I would say that when you look at the price ratio you think to yourself, "Am I here for fun?"While I'm writing this review, I'm really questioning whether it's worth writing the review, since around 300 other people are writing the same thing.I just can't recommend it.

Very unfriendly and unmotivated staff, especially towards boys. They probably didn't really want to have overnight guests - then you shouldn't accept groups. The rooms are very small and there were dirty bed linens.

The rooms were sufficiently large and clean. The food was mostly tasty and the selection was actually good enough, including vegetarian, etc. My point of criticism is the showers and toilets. The showers are really small, about 1.50×1.50. You can't take clothes in without them getting wet. There are no sinks in the toilets. Only in the rooms. The toilets are not in the rooms but in the hallway. This is a bit suboptimal. Overall, it's okay and there are no major defects. It's just a youth hostel and not a hotel. There is a games room in the basement that is open until 10 p.m. according to opening times. The days we were there it was closed at around 9 p.m., which isn't so great for young people. Another positive thing was the drinks machine in the basement, whose drinks were relatively cheap (e.g. 0.5 Cola/Fanta for €1.50).
