Very great restaurant, good service, I arrived shortly before the kitchen closed and was still given a very friendly welcome. The food was also very good.

Martin 59 years old with familyWere invited to an 80th birthday at the Hotel RoteLache. For the first time after reopening. Tenants and service staff are simply perfect 👍. Everything goes hand in hand ✋The restaurant, counter area, outdoor/indoor area were remodeled. The current spirit of the times is probably implemented in doses 👍The food was great, the portions and the presentation were all top notch. 😋Price/performance perfectly fine.100% recommended. We'd love to come backMartin, October 24th

We were there yesterday for the “breakfast buffet”. A rich, vital breakfast is advertised on Instagram, which is said to be beautifully prepared. Unfortunately a big disappointment on site, carelessly prepared and a limited selection for the price of €24.50 per person. Service staff had to be made aware of things that we took for granted, such as forks for sausage and cheese as well as napkins or bowls for muesli or yoghurt. To drink there was only filter coffee and orange juice, cappuccino or something similar, and water would only be available for an additional charge. Unfortunately we don't want to come back for breakfast - it's a shame.

We were there for the breakfast buffet (€24.50 per person). For this price we were very disappointed with the buffet and cannot recommend it. When it came to the cheese and sausage platter, we had to ask for cutlery before everyone helped themselves. There were no napkins, so you had to ask yourself. The cheese and salmon were served “shredded”. The jam is available in the good & cheap jars. There is only filter coffee and orange juice to drink. There is no champagne, no tea, no water, no apple juice or a real coffee like cappuccino, café au lait etc. Which in my opinion should be standard and at least a real coffee should be included. There are only two types of rolls and croissants, no pretzels/pretzel pastries. The fruit is simply mixed together in a bowl and you dig down to the grapes instead of making a fruit salad or serving it more beautifully. There wasn't even Nutella, just honey/jam.For a price of €24.50 I can't recommend the buffet, everything was very carelessly prepared. When the waiter commented, the impression was that it didn't matter. You could at least be interested in what wasn't good and pass it on. No matter how many people register for breakfast, the buffet should always be well prepared for the price.

After a very long renovation period, the hotel has been open again since the middle of this year. The renovation was successful and it has become a very nice hotel with a restaurant again. There is a large terrace with a beautiful view of the Murgtal. We went to the restaurant for dinner. The food is very tasty and we were very impressed by the quality. The menu is quite simple, but there is something tasty for every taste. The prices are very fair and reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff is very attentive and accommodating and responded to all requests. We can recommend this restaurant.

We went to the Rote Lache for lunch and after a hike for coffee and cake.Beef cheeks, rump steak, cheese spaetzle and the Black Forest cake were all very tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. The location at the top of the pass with a great view of the Murgtal is fantastic.
