the hotel did not have a room for me, which was booked 3 days earlier. I had two emails from them confirming the acceptance of the reservation. Unfortunately, I was not served.

Hotel very clean, short time after renovation ( at least it looks like that ) , very good contact with person taking care about hotel. Bad opinions from past about this place are just bullshit i think 😉

If you are just looking for a hotel room, this hotel is not for you!If, in addition to a hotel room, you are looking for a dunghill, this hotel is for you. If in addition to a hotel room, you are looking for a sauna, this hotel is for you. If, in addition to a hotel room, you are looking for a zoo, this hotel is for you. This hotel, so to speak, should be closed by Health. I have not seen a hotel with more dirt in my life, the room was not cleaned, in the bathroom there was an open bottle of shampoo that belonged to a previous guest. Our bed did not have a fitted sheet, they made us sleep on top of the mattress cover. Unbearable heat. Millions of spiders in the corners of the room. We had to stay because we arrived very late. We were about to go to sleep in the car. Run away from this hotel!

Mold everywhere. Spiders inside and outside. No ventilation. Walls needs to be repainted. The owners don't care about anything but the money they rake in. They didn't pay the cleaning lady for many months and she is forced to go after them through the law.

When we spontaneously booked a night as a stopover, we found a hotel without a reception,However, we had a code and online key that didn't work. A nice employee gave us a card that worked.The toilets and showers were in the hallway which is very uncomfortable if you have to go in the hallway to brush your teeth etc.There were no towels only 2 bathrobes because we had to dry ourselves off.The room wasn't exactly clean. There was lint on the window sill and hair on the table. There was lint in the bed.There were coffee and tea but no real cups, just paper cups.In itself it was okay for one night but not suitable for several days.The location is completely ok, you can quickly get to Leer or Winschoten or Groningen by bus and train.In summary, I have never experienced a rather strange hotel before. I would recommend checking first whether there are rooms elsewhere and only sleeping here in an emergency.

I had to runaway from the hotel because of the owners friend who humiliated me many times ( for example: I had to get down as a dog in front of a strange man for the friend’s 'order' to see if there was dirt under the bed that he hadn't cleaned up )I worked there for a week, they didn’t pay it. The friend drunk too much and forget what he told in the morning and he wanted to convince me that I remember wrongly.Do you want to put money that type of people’s pocket?What kind of contract does they have who work there?

After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical, but upon arrival I was welcomed by the nicest woman from Poland or something and it turned out that the entire hotel had been completely renovated. Rooms and sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained. Highly recommended for this price!!

Nothing to complainEmergency booking, after my intended hotel was not open and nobody answered on the phone.Found this place on Booking.com, booked for the same day, made a phone call to be sure and was at the doorstep 5 minutes later. Friendly welcome, clean modern room upstairs, just right. Limited parking round the corner, quiet location. Good WiFi.The operator had just turned on the heaters - very kind of him. But this is January 2024, it's freezing outside. Wait and see.

I would advise anyone if you want a nice weekend away to skip this hotel.After booking a room with booking.com I was shown a beautiful room. Where I wanted to spend the night. Unfortunately, upon arrival it turned out that the front door was broken. And when I entered I was shown my room, which was a very small room without windows. This was like a war bunker, and it was very hot.During online check-in I had seen that I could buy an upgrade with a double bed and a more luxurious room for €10. Once I arrived in the other room, this was also not the room I had seen in the photos. No double bed and much smaller. In addition, the room was very poorly cleaned, and I was very happy that I had brought my own pillow.The bathroom looked very good (still not very clean). Unfortunately, while showering, water got under the shower door somewhere, causing a lot of water in the bathroom. After drying, I tried to dry the floor as much as possible with the towel.I finally left early in the morning, and almost a week later I was accused of stealing a hairdryer and leaving the whole room a mess. Very strange, I think this could have something to do with my bad review via booking.com.

A very dirty place, the entrance to the hotel is covered in spiders and cobwebs, the rooms are dirty. The wet area is the only positive thing, supposedly breakfast is included, in the morning an external company is there and wants the money in cash, all very surprising if not positive. The owner was full of drugs and couldn't remember the booking we made 2 hours earlier.

Never slept in such a strange and bad hotel.When we checked in with our group in the afternoon, 1 of our rooms was a mess. As if someone lived in it. When we returned to our rooms late at night, the 'owner' was sleeping in the filthy room. He seemed drunk/confused, but did arrange another room. This one had no towels. The rest of the rooms had clearly not been cleaned. The carpet was dirty, there was dust and hair on the floor, the windowsill hadn't been cleaned in months, there were fat spiders in the room and there was even a pebble in the bed. The window of our room could not be closed, and the room was next to the railway crossing of the main road.The next morning he heard that the rooms were dirty. He denied it at first but then apologized and said he would make sure our rooms were cleaned extra well that day. The cleaners would be there in half an hour. When we returned to the hotel about an hour and a half later, the rooms had not yet been cleaned. In the evening they were still not cleaned. The man was sleeping in another guest room (not ours) that night. He was confused/drunk again. The stairs were strewn with piles of cornflakes and scattered in the hall were a vacuum cleaner, dirty socks, a jacket, pistachios, etc.The information sheet in the room stated that there would be bath slippers and a hairdryer, but these were missing.In short: this is not recommended.
