There are signs of wear and the cleanliness is OK but there is room for improvement. Otherwise everything is good except for the noise from the street, which gets better when the windows are closed

We stayed at the hotel for two days. The room is well furnished and was clean. Tea and coffee are available free of charge and there is even a small fridge with a bottle of water.Due to the various bars in the area, this hotel is not suitable for light sleepers. On weekends, noise can be expected until 4 a.m., despite soundproof windows.

We had a room facing the street and since there was a disco opposite that played very loud music until the early hours of the morning, it was almost impossible to sleep. Breakfast took place in another building (60m away) and was of the normal standard. The location is opposite the red light district, but the center and the old town are within walking distance.

I got stranded on Deutsche Bahn due to storms. All the hotels surrounding the train station were quickly booked out. I was looking for accommodation that was average. I found this hotel through Expedia, reserved and paid directly. When I got to the hotel, it said that the reception in the hotel was 50m further to the right. Check-in there was problem-free. The elevator in the booked hotel goes up to floor 4. My room was on floor 5. The room makes a good impression. Everything was clean. The bathroom was a bit old and I recommend renovating it. The water drained very poorly. The WiFi worked really well. I was able to video conference from there the next morning. There was also a free bottle of water in the fridge. This was excellent for cooling drinks. Unfortunately I couldn't leave the window open at night. A loud exhaust system prevented me from falling asleep. Air conditioning was not available. There is a kettle with instant coffee and tea on the desk. Everything was fine for one night at a very reasonable price.
