Stopover on the return journey from the north. Renovated small Medium-sized hotel garni, extensive and nice breakfast selection. We weren't particularly impressed by the location, but for hikers... definitely great.

Everything is ok with this hotel, it is recommended. The other reviews describe the rooms, breakfast and the friendliness of the owner. Why not 5 stars: the bathroom smelled very much like a drain. The smell didn't go away even after use, but there was no smell in the room. The outside lighting on our balcony didn't work. These are the little things that differentiate excellent from very good. Important: there is a garage for motorcycles. Bikers: call ahead and let us know.

Clean and modern room with no frills. We felt comfortable from the first moment. A super nice operator. Because there were few guests, we got breakfast at the table, a highlight.I also like the idea of having refrigerators in the hallway.I would stay there again.

We have been coming to the Hotel Hafermarkt for five years and are very satisfied every time. First we would like to mention the employees, the hotel lives from them. We have rarely experienced such nice and loving employees as in this hotel. The welcome is always very warm and the atmosphere is familiar. If you have questions there is always someone there.The rooms and apartments are modern, large and well-equipped. The beds are nice and big, the rooms are clean and some have a balcony or terrace.The breakfast is very good and offers everything you need. There are enough parking spaces in front of the front door. The town of Wildemann is small, cozy and not far from Clausthal-Zellerfeld, where you can find everything you need.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location is simply beautiful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The dinner was a culinary highlight - the taste was simply excellent! It exceeded my expectations and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly Recommended! :-)

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms are modernly furnished and equipped with Smart TV and WiFi. The location of the hotel is beautiful and offers a great starting point for wonderful hikes. In the Hafermarkt the motto “The guest is king” is truly lived out. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, so you immediately feel welcome (many thanks to Mr. Stanek and Ms. Mundt). We are already looking forward to our next visit. We'll definitely be back!

Right next to the forest, comfortable bed, modern furnishings. Great breakfast, great service, reimbursement through offset, despite the cancellation deadline having expired, departure was a day later. Alternatively, I could have used the overnight stay on the way back. The overall package just fit.

Great hotel in the Upper Harz.Rooms very clean. Well equipped.Good mattress in bed. Windows close tightly and may allow any noise from the river outside.A good buffet for breakfast.Very friendly staff.Gladly again.

The buffet was a real culinary delight. Apart from the fact that nothing was missing, there were so many extras such as capers, blueberries, salmon and much more. And everything was so beautifully arranged,The room is extremely comfortable. Self-service coffee, great balcony. Super nice, very clean, all in all a 1 plus!

I'm really on a roll with hotel bookings at the moment - another hit. Booked by chance because it was on the way to ImParadies. Beautiful rooms, great service, friendly staff and a dream breakfast. We were traveling by bike and it was really difficult to continue driving. Thank you very much for the extra cooking service, rarely have we been fed so lovingly.

Great hotel, I had a super nice, spacious and modern room with a great view of the greenery. Check-in was easy using room codes, even late in the evening. There was also a really lovingly prepared breakfast where I didn't miss anything and special requests such as oat almond milk were also taken into account. Gladly again, not only in a professional but also in a private context.The location of course depends on what you want, but for me it's very good because I only need about 10 minutes to get to the office.

We stayed at the Hotel Hafermarkt for almost 2 weeks. It was a great starting point for many hikes for us. The staff was very nice, helpful and constantly tried to fulfill all wishes. The very rich and varied breakfast in particular offers a good start to the day. In addition to various salads, there was always a lot of fresh fruit. There is the option to put together your own packed lunch. But we didn't use this because the breakfast was enough for a long day of hiking. The room was modernly furnished, the balcony faced the stream and invited you to relax in the evening. Due to the location on a side street and on the edge of the forest, it was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

The town of Wildemann is a nice starting point for many excursions in the Upper Harz. The oat market is suitable for this.A well-run hotel with pleasant rooms and service staff.
