Very nice facility. Dog-friendly, you can even take them into the restaurant, there are drinking bowls everywhere. Great rooms, also suitable for wheelchairs, but should be addressed directly when booking, we had the family room/suit and we were thrilled. Only the entrance door is very difficult to open (for wheelchair users) and closes extremely quickly, so that the building is constantly banging. The room door was a little easier to open. You can definitely adjust/readjust something there ;-)The breakfast was varied. And spacious, so you didn't have to wait long. Unfortunately it is not accessible for wheelchair users as it has to go up a few steps. But the kitchen staff had offered help. Top!The dinner (half board or a la carte) was excellent! Delicious. The chef is really into it. Our waitress (Nicole) was great, even though she had only worked there for a few days, she was very attentive and could really read your wishes. Dealing with guests was really skilful and if there were any disagreements, she immediately took the initiative and sorted it out or made sense of it. A great woman! Keep it up!The dog beach is also very nice, but unfortunately a bit steep for people with walking problems. Unfortunately not accessible for a wheelchair. The agility course is also beautifully done. And the “group freewheeling” is also a very nice thing. Thank you for placing so much value on the dogs. Class!It was a nice time. We'll be back!

My dog and I took part in the “fur nose fun” offer.It was a very nice experience thanks to the very good organization, the attentive service, the original accommodation (mini forest chalet) and the friendly group.In addition to the special location, the food was also impressive.As a dog owner I felt very welcome.

My sister and I took part in the FellnasenFun program with our dogs. We lived in a forest chalet. Everything was very well organized. The accommodation was clean and completely sufficient. We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. You have to know that dog lovers are welcome there and therefore there are many dogs throughout the property.Rooms are functionally furnished and the service was excellent.

Great facility, nice paths for walking and everything around is really nice, rural and quiet. We have been here twice now and would always come back to relax. Staff really very friendly and helpful with every request.

I went with friends to the small wooden huts for a weekend. Rustic and simple but very beautiful. Quiet and relaxed. Everything clean and dog friendly. The staff was friendly but not intrusive. There is plenty to do in the area. Go-karting, archery, water sports or just a walk. The lake is small but has everything to offer. The restaurant is great. Always happy. :)

Weekend in a double wooden cabin with a dog.Rustic, but everything is great. Everything is available for the dog and people can sleep comfortably, private bathroom, kitchenette with refrigerator, television, etc. The second room also has its own bathroom and instead of a kitchen there is a comfortable seating area.

We rented a forest chalet for 4 people and 2 dogs. The houses are individually located and there is space for a car next to them. The beds are good, the bathroom and kitchenette are quite small but sufficient. Unfortunately, the windows only open outward and therefore you cannot install mosquito screens, which would be necessary. The restaurant is within walking distance and the food is delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The Amber Lake is a dream and you can easily walk around it. You can cycle, hike and walk very well here

We were at Bernsteinsee as a large group with many dogs and felt completely at home. Dogs are welcome everywhere (including in the restaurant), which you noticed as soon as you checked into your room.The surrounding area invites you to take long hikes and you could cool off in the clear water on your own dog beach. We'd love to come back

We stayed in one of the apartment rooms with our two dogs over the weekend.The environment is magnificent, there is a lot of nature and a lot to see. If you don't want to hike, you have a wide range of alternatives.The food in the hotel restaurant was completely convincing and tasty. We were looked after by really charming and, above all, patient employees.We'd love to come back. 🙂

I think they could be a little friendlier at the reception and respond a little more to the customer.... We looked at the rooms for a wedding and I have to say the tour was very dry and unfortunately very listless... But man I have to say the rooms are great in combination with the terrace.

Beautiful lake that is very clean. You can swim here for free. However, the self-service on the large terrace leaves something to be desired. Drunk coffee three times and always a different price. It's too expensive for self-service. French fries €5.50.

There was enough space for everyone and it never felt crowded. On the beach there is a cozy bar with cold drinks and the opportunity to enjoy a snack. Leisure activities such as mini golf, karting and water skiing are also offered, which makes the holiday more varied.

A paradise for dogs and their owners!We had the great pleasure of spending a night at the Hotel am Bernsteinsee and can recommend it to every dog owner. The hotel is perfectly tailored to the needs of four-legged friends: from spacious rooms with direct access to the garden to special dog equipment - everything has been thought of.The location of the hotel is great for walking the dog. The Amber Lake and the surrounding forests offer numerous opportunities for extensive exploration tours. We thought it was particularly great that dogs were allowed to swim in the lake, which our Labrador thoroughly enjoyed. We found it very good (not overcrowded, only for guests)!The service in the hotel was also good. The staff is very dog friendly. There was even a little surprise for our dog upon arrival - we thought that was a very nice gesture.One point of improvement would be the breakfast buffet, which was available but could be expanded. A little more choice and would round off the overall package well.Nevertheless, our stay at the Hotel am Bernsteinsee was a complete success and we can only recommend it to all dog owners. Here we not only focus on people, but also on man's best friend.
