The cute, small hotel is centrally located in the old town, right on the pedestrian zone. The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail and is connected to a restaurant on the first floor. The room we stayed in was very tasteful, functionally furnished and clean. We felt comfortable straight away. We had booked our overnight stay including breakfast. It should be mentioned that the breakfast is exclusively vegetarian, which was a completely new experience for us. The breakfast was very rich, with fresh rolls and home-baked bread. There was a rich selection of cheese and vegetarian spreads, lovingly decorated with lots of fruit and vegetables. The restaurant on the ground floor also serves vegetarian/vegan cuisine.Overall, we were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Hotel Alte Farberei in Goslar. Excellent rooms, very neat and clean. Now we had an apartment. In this hotel. It was really great. Now my sons and I are over two meters tall. Couldn't stand upright everywhere. But double toilet perfect shower. It had recently been renovated. You could see everything was still new. So some small points of attention here and there, great service. All you had to do was ask. Was arranged or resolved or you received the correct instructions. Location really in the center, everything within walking distance. Really amazing. Parking is good. Fairly close proximity. Then make sure to use the parking app. You can download it there via a scan. Then you can arrange parking directly for days. So yes, definitely recommended, all in all

A fairly new, small, owner-managed hotel in the old town. We had a very large room at the back, totally quiet! Furnished with everything you need, you can even choose the pillows if you don't like the standard pillow! The breakfast is very rich, but vegetarian, which is not a drawback for me. Friendly service staff, committed owner. We will be back!

Four of us with two dogs stayed at the Hotel Alte Färberei over New Year's Eve and booked the holiday apartment. Everything was very clean and extremely comfortable. Ms. Köppel, the owner of the hotel, is a real hostess and takes very individual care of her guests with her staff. We felt very comfortable all around. Definitely coming back.

Very nice, from the greeting to the farewell. Unfortunately there was no kettle in the room as I would have liked to make myself some tea. It was plain and simple, but nice.

What I like1. Location: The location couldn't be better. From the hotel it is only a 3-minute walk to the Marktplatz. a train station is also in a walking distance.2. Breakfast: The breakfast is served at the table. It consistsof several types of cheeses, spreads, jam and honey, fruits. And if you want, they will also cook an omelet for you. The portion is BIG and it tastes great. Please note that this is a vegetarian hotel/restaurant so no meat product is served here.3. Staffs: All the staffs that I met here were cheerful and welcoming. What I don't Like1. Room: I could tell that the room was recently renovated. Somehow it still seemed spartan to me. I didn't have the homey feeling when I stayed in the room. It would be nice to have more furniture like a writing desk (Call me old-fashioned but I still write postcards home when I travel.) or a wardrobe (Right now there is only a wardrobe rack.) in the room.2. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was not working at all. At times my iPad couldn't find the hotel's Wi-Fi network and when it could find the network it would stay connected for only a few minutes when it lost the connection.3. Location: Because of the central location, there were some noise in the evening but by 9-10 PM it died down.4. Breakfast: Well, the breakfast was great but it started at 8:30 AM which was, for me, rather late.

The Alte Färberei is really a very nice little hotel in the middle of downtown Goslar. We booked three rooms, all of which were spacious and very tastefully decorated in different ways. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are new and well maintained. The owner of the hotel is a real hostess and her staff takes very individual care of her guests. The highlight of our stay was the delicious, varied and lovingly decorated breakfast. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit.
