Beautiful location, solid breakfast, but that's pretty much it. The heating is turned off at night and several times during the day, the classic Czech approach of the owners pay well and don't bother, hard mattresses and as a bonus you pay for parking at the barracks

Big disappointment, the price paid certainly does not correspond to the quality of services or equipment. The positives are only the location and cleanliness, unfortunately it ends there. The fact that the beds have stone mattresses and the heating is turned off at night could still be tolerated. In any case, they recommend the stay without food, dinner uniform, without the possibility of any arrangement, the quality of the racing canteen of the 80s. The breakfast is really poor, for example, your child can have chopped tatranka from the sweets. But the worst is the behavior of the cold guesthouse staff. Something is really wrong here, the pursuit of maximum profit with minimum cost is really noticeable. When we announced in the middle of our stay that we were leaving, no one, not even the present owner, cared why. When we wrote an email to the owners with what we thought was wrong (I note without a hint of trying to get any money back), we learned that we were troublemakers.

In the room, an old shower, you couldn't even dig in it, the service was unpleasant, the food was disgusting porridge with powder, the meatball was only fried on one side, the cook was arrogant and unpleasant

So it is receiving 2 stars because of the situations in rooms. Rooms for the price are big, that is for sure. Heating was set to 5, and we were freezing at night, and early in the morning, heaters were hot for a bit, and then Luke warm again. Matrices were hard as a rock, + the pillows gave us back pain. The room was somewhat clean except the shower , which hadn't been touched at least for a couple of days. There was no water cooker, some cups and glasses pan, and 2 pots, a microwave, and an electrical oven. Service was fine, with no real complaints there. Payment is only accepted in cash, and you can ask for a receipt. Location is good not far from the city center and near skie slope. The price was good for what we got.

Quite nice accommodation is spoiled by the unwillingness of the owners to deal with the client's wishes in any way. We wanted 2 separate bedrooms and upon arrival we were assigned a 2-bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom and 2 beds in the living room. The owner kept repeating that the 2-bedroom apartment is 2 separate bedrooms. The Alpine House is not responsible for its owners, but we can influence the fact that next time we go somewhere else.

The rooms are nice, plenty of space, the mattress a bit hard but otherwise fine, the stay here is very good, only you can hear a lot of footsteps from above.

It's a nice enough place, the staff are friendly and the location is great.The apartment was roomy and airy with a lot of beds - there were 6 of us but you could probably sleep up to 10 (but there's only 1 toilet!) - and a serviceable kitchenette.However, there were quite a few downsides.For starters, we were only provided with one small towel per person, there wasn't even an extra towel to dry hands on in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, the shower wasn't clean and leaked all over the floor, so we had to use one of those precious towels on the floor! The bedclothes were pretty rough as well - the pillows were like a sack of lumpy potatoes!...but I won't go into detail about all the annoying little things like toilet paper holder placement and nowhere to put the soap in the shower...And then there's the breakfast - I mean, it was OK, but the coffee was instant (!!!) the eggs were far too salty and the selection was extremely limited (and the same every day). It was all fairly cheap, low quality fare.And please, turn the TV off at breakfast!!!I wouldn't not recommend the place, but next time I'd find somewhere else...

We used the largest apartment for 4 nights at the Alpský dům pension. We were pleasantly surprised that it was nicer than in the photos and the equipment, including the furniture, seemed new.The owner is really very nice and she went out of her way to accommodate us. We also used the possibility of outdoor grilling behind the house, which was also very pleasant and the food was very good.It is therefore ideal as a holiday for a group of friends, in addition, Železná ruda is a good starting point for walks and also a place with very good restaurants and cafes, for example compared to Kvilda, where restaurant operators often cannot keep up with the overcrowding of tourists and thus do not pay attention to the quality of the services offered.Thank you for the nice days at the Alpine House and we recommend!
