A very nice, clean hotel.The sauna area is modernly furnished and is a place to relax after a hike or bike ride.The kitchen is highly recommended. We had booked half board and were very impressed. Fresh and varied dishes were served. You can also eat on a menu at good prices. If you want to take a bus or train, the train station or bus stops are nearby.There are shopping opportunities in town or in the Czech Republic.

Excellent location, a few hundred metersfrom the border with the Czech Republic to the station Eisenstein - Železná Ruda, where it ison the platform marked with the line DE and CRIt is also possible to drive toBodenmais, where it is representativeJoska kristal glass shop with a huge assortmentbeautiful products that they producedescendants of our fellow citizens displaced after the war. On the way back, you can take the cable car to the highest mountain Velkÿ Javor, which is located on the German side of Bavaria. There are a lot of optionsin all seasons.The biggest advantage is completeCzech staff, so you can make an agreementand you don't have to know German.

When you walk past it, the first impression is that everything seems to be getting old and you have to find out for yourself. For me, I can say that I don't know of any bad accommodation in the Bavarian Forest

The hotel was cheap and good and was there 5 times, but for me it wasn't repeated. I ate in the restaurant and complained about the incorrect declaration of the wine. After paying including the tip, I was then shouted at that I shouldn't do that in front of my guests 👍 never again for me

A large hotel in the center of the town near the train station in Bayrisch Eisenstein. It is run by a Czech family who are very friendly and try to make your stay there pleasant. The rooms are large and sufficient, including a balcony with a view of the Arber. The furnishings are getting old, but everything is clean and in order. The food in the restaurant tastes good and is attractively prepared. Priced in the upper mid-range. The buffet breakfast corresponds to the hotel category.Since we traveled with two motorcycles, there was a garage available for us.Farewell with a handshake.Gladly again!

This time more than disappointed 😞We have been coming to the Eisensteiner Hof for a few days off for a long time and now we had 5 days from June 25th to 30th. booked with half board. We were presented with the menu for dinner. I said that we had booked half board. The answer we received was that there was only half board on Friday because we were the only guests. You can earn more money a la carte. The breakfast and service the next morning was very good. The following days, less so. Many types of salami, not for everyone and cooked ham, unfortunately everything wasn't freshly prepared in the morning. You can see when ¼ of the tomatoes are already very dried out. Unfortunately, egg dishes were too cold and once there were no rolls. 🤔By the way, there was still no half board on Friday evening even though the hotel was fully booked.What was very positive was that the carpet in the room was replaced with vinyl and it was very clean. Otherwise the service has deteriorated significantly.

In the low season it is quite quiet in the town, the location on the national border is really great. In the tourist office you can get a lot of friendly information about excursion destinations in the Bavarian Forest and the Czech Republic. This can be easily reached by public transport with the free National Park Card. Bus and train stops are within walking distance.

I have rarely eaten as well as I did here. No matter which dish, not only does it all look delicious, it also tastes delicious.The meat is perfect, and when I say perfect, I mean perfect. You have the desire to continue feasting non-stop, out of pure enjoyment.Great cinema here from the kitchen team!!! Keep it up ....The service is also commendable. No matter what you want, no matter how often you order, your every wish will be read from your eyes. The entire service team is super friendly, very courteous and incredibly nice to children.5 stars are almost not enough for what is on offer.If you are visiting the area around the Arber, then it is almost mandatory to make a stop here.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service and delicious food. The atmosphere is a bit from the nineties, but everything is clean and tidy. The service and friendliness are exceptional. There is nothing missing from the breakfast buffet. The restaurant's menu is very good and the preparation is very, very tasty. The location is great for going on beautiful hikes directly from the hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 days and felt very comfortable.The rooms are relatively large, the bed is very low, and everything is very clean.The bosses and employees are very hard working and friendly.The food (we had half board) was good and sufficient.The sauna and relaxation room are very small and you should avoid peak times, otherwise very comfortable.The location is very suitable for hikes or visits to Bodenmais, Zwiesel, Arber.We can recommend the hotel. 😉

The hotel is not the newest but very clean and very quiet, large and spacious room, sauna in the house to relax and above all not stressful because it is not so crowded. Just the thing if you're looking for a few days of relaxation.P.S. The food is excellent, fresh and, above all, large portions.
