From the outside the impression isn't that good, there isn't anything like a beer garden outside where you can sit in the evening. There's also no option in the town itself, there's absolutely nothing going on. The dining room was very nice, dinner was brought to the table and it was very tasty. The evening service was very, very friendly. It wasn't the same at breakfast, the breakfast room was overcrowded and the service couldn't keep up with the refills. Something was always missing, even the tables weren't even wiped down after they were cleared. But we were surprised at dinner with friendliness and good taste.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was disappointing, even though the location and region are really great. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers many opportunities for nature trips.However, there were some deficiencies in the hotel: the welcome schnapps was forgotten, and we only received the nature park map that we needed for our excursions on the second evening - far too late.The steam room was out of order and we had to change rooms, unfortunately to a room that had not yet been cleaned. If we hadn't gone on a trip that day, it would have been a real problem.The breakfast was okay, but presented very carelessly. At dinner, which was part of our half board, the portions were small and the food overall was very basic. The organization in the restaurant also left a lot to be desired - it took us almost two hours for dinner, with most of the time spent waiting. The dessert was also disappointing.The spa was very small and old, and it seemed like no one really cared about it. There is definitely room for improvement here.The rooms are decorated in a rustic style, which is a matter of taste, but the reception staff were not particularly competent and were unable to help us with several questions.The price was okay, but it definitely shouldn't be more expensive because the overall package just wasn't right.Overall, despite the great location, we unfortunately cannot recommend the hotel.

The first impression was not very inviting. There were a lot of weeds in front of the entrance. The room was like this, the bed linen was unironed and very carelessly made. But it was clean. It's no longer an option for me.

Something is happening from the outsideThe bathroom is too small with a shower curtain in the tub, 10 cm of black (mold) at the bottom. A beautiful building in itself, with large rooms. But not a possibilitySitting outside and the reception area behind the counter very untidy. A pity

We were there from July 22nd. for 7 days with half board in the hotel. A very friendly welcome on arrival. You immediately felt at home :-)The staff and even the boss were always very friendly. You can still feel genuine hospitality and joy in the services.By the way, the boss is still personally in the kitchen and cooks for his guests. Breakfast plentiful and very good quality. In the afternoon there was coffee and cake. TheThe 4-course evening menu (3 to choose from) was always a delight and very varied. For dessert you had the option of choosing something sweet or strong. The hotel and the rooms are very clean and tastefully and lovingly furnished. Price-performance fits here. Frauenau is a well-kept and quiet place. The surrounding area offers many excursion destinations. Forest glass gardens. WaldWipfelWeg and many other options. The weekend trip to quiet Frauenau was relaxing, the hotel was beautifully decorated and a good starting point for hikes.We stayed in one of the new rooms! There wasn't really anything missing (perhaps the coffee selection could be expanded a bit instead of just offering black coffee) and the staff were mostly nice and helpful.Breakfast was good, especially the fresh sausage from our own butcher's shop. We had booked with Sparmit and therefore also included a good home-style 3-course dinner.Only the wellness area was a bit small. And in summer it would be nice to have a place to lie down outside! The space for this would be available.

We booked 7 days in this 3 star hotel. The welcome was warm and we were immediately given the room key. Afterwards we were shown around the rooms and were then able to go to the room.The hotel manager was super nice. Of course his dog Gustel too.The service staff was nice, polite and courteous.We had a great stay, and if we were to go on vacation to the Bavarian area again, I would book this hotel again at any time.

A real disaster. The reception was loveless. The room was simple and the bed had two different mattresses, one of which was 5 cm higher.The breakfast was very simple, no fruit selection, only cereal corner packs from the discounter, rolls and bread baked, sausage and cheese were carelessly placed on the plates. In the outdoor area, the weeds were taller than the withered flowers. Dinner always tastes the same and bland.

We had booked the following and got it through Kurz-mal-weg:3 days / 2 nights in the booked room category -> We first had a standard double room and then changed to a comfort double room for €60. I would recommend, the room was very nice. Balcony was very pleasant, just a bit noisy at night. The bathroom is very nice, but the sink is a bit inconvenient.daily 3/4 pampering board (breakfast, afternoon delicacies, 4-course evening menu with choice of main course) -> The breakfast was very poor. Very little choice and not the best either. The glasses for the juice are tiny and unfortunately no fruit. We only had one afternoon treat and that was just a bee sting. Unfortunately no selection, but still very tasty cake. The dinner was very good and more than enough! Unfortunately there is no hot food after 9 p.m., even in the area.Use of the wellness area with, among other things, a whirlpool, Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin -> "Wellness area" is very small. The whirlpool is open from morning to evening, but unfortunately cold. The sauna area is possible from 3 p.m., but only with advance reservation. Sauna area consisted of 3 saunas (steam bath was out of use) and an infrared cabin, they are really small sauna cabins. This is very pleasant for introverts because it is small and we were always alone.National Park guest card: free train and bus in the region as well as reduced or free admission to leisure facilities in the national park region -> We were at the Lusen National Park Center and got a discount on entry to the treetop path. It’s also very nice there and we can only recommend it!1 x welcome schnapps -> we didn't receive it, but we didn't ask because we didn't need it.10% discount on massage treatments -> I can only recommend the massages! Very good, very friendly and cheap!Bottle of water in your room -> Available.Parking at the hotel -> Available.WiFi in the hotel -> Not the best, but available.Overall, very pleasant stay!

We were there for the third time. But unfortunately the Hubertushof is declining more and more. The comfort room was clean but the glass door to the bathroom showed that there had been many visitors before. The small bar of soap on the sink already had mold stains on the package.The furniture on the balcony was definitely past its prime.The outdoor area did not appear particularly well maintained and was also decorated with discarded cooling devices.The breakfast was standard but nothing more.

One thing in advance:Only the food is rated here. The hotel itself made a normal impression, we didn't see the hotel rooms and can't rate them.But now to the main part:In fact, we have never been as disappointed with a Mother's Day meal as we were here.Cured cream sauce, burnt misery and a soup meat as a beef steak. We couldn't cut either type of meat and the presentation on the plates was interesting.The service was good, after our advice and review, the staff understood that this meal was not edible and canceled it without any problems, a big compliment for that.
