The rooms are small but very clean. Mattresses in our rooms were good. TV and WiFi available. The breakfast is extensive and is also replenished.We had dinner and I enjoyed it. The hotel is family-run and you always have someone to contact. We were a group of 23 people for 2 nights.

Super great, cute, family-run hotel. We were immediately given a friendly welcome. The rooms are beautifully newly renovated and very comfortable. The hotel has parking spaces directly on site and is only about a 5-minute walk from the center. The breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice whatever your heart desires. There were even extra pancakes for my son!The hotel also has a small beer garden where you can end the evening with a cold drink after a hike or day program. We would like to thank you again for the extremely nice stay. We'd love to come back!Kind regards Ben & Stefan!

We can only recommend this hotel. We received a very friendly welcome from the owners. The room was very clean, very tastefully decorated and it had everything you need for your vacation. The hiking trails are not far from the hotel and it is only a few minutes to the town center. In the evening there was the finest food. It was very tasty and also plentiful. The breakfast buffet was the same. Plentiful, varied and nothing was missing. There was a lot of laughter over a beer in the evening. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

I always look forward to spending the night in Sonnleiten when I come to Bodenmais. Eating is exceptional, especially dinner. Top chef Frank can do magic and he can do it better than mass-market restaurants that all taste the same. From 6:00 p.m. there are at least 3 different menus that change every day. By the way, I'm a foodie.

For our stay over Christmas and New Year's Eve last year, we cannot give a good rating for the hotel room and the associated catering. The room didn't even reach 17 degrees for the first few days. The WiFi was only poorly available. The basics for breakfast such as rolls were over-baked and not fresh. The coffee certainly didn't deserve the name.In the evening the food was very Maggi-heavy.Conclusion: never again

A hotel 🏨 to dream about. Run by a very nice and courteous couple. Great breakfast with everything you could want. You can get a three-course menu for 16.00 euros 💶. It tastes really delicious because the chef is a trained chef. Rooms are simple but cozy with Wi-Fi and TV.

The stay was very successful. The location is very convenient and quiet, right next to many hiking trails. The distance to the town center is also easy to manage on foot. Hotel and rooms clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast buffet very varied and tasty. The dinner is personally prepared by the boss, but must be selected in advance. Price-performance ratio definitely fits. Staff very nice and accommodating. Definitely a recommendation.

We felt very comfortable at the Hotel Sonnleitn.The breakfast was very good, there was something for every taste.We had half board. The dinner was great. We looked forward to it every morning.The boss was always very friendly and accommodating.All in all we can only recommend the hotel.
