We had booked a room for 7 days. On the day of arrival we were there at 12 p.m., then we found out over the phone that we couldn't get in until 2 p.m. several websites, different check-in times. OK. No problem. We just went cycling first. We got back there at 3:30 p.m., sweaty of course, no one could be reached by phone. Everything was locked. We tried for an hour to reach someone, without success. We then looked for new accommodation, which luckily worked out quickly. Finally took a shower and something cold to drink. We were very disappointed with this guesthouse. But we found a really nice place to stay. Very nice people, great breakfast and great food. That made everything better

Warning to every chef!You're the last a...hole here!No communication, no information and you still have to make good food! The landlady has no idea about gastronomy and thinks she can do it!I was the 4th or 5th or even 6th chef within a year! That says it all!

The Landgasthof Zum Wolfsburg has nicely furnished rooms with a very nice bathroom. The breakfast and WiFi were also fine. The food in the inn was good, and you could park and load your bike in a garage.

We stayed there from Sunday to Monday.(Monday is actually a rest day)The food in the restaurant on Sunday evening was good and we also had special requests fulfilled. The beer also tasted very good.Our room was a triple room. This was given to us because we stayed overnight with a dog. We only had to pay for a two-bed room plus the cost of the dog as previously agreed.Our dog was happy about the large amount of space.Only the radiator made a loud noise when you turned it on. That's actually not a big deal. We slept relatively cool anyway. I'm sure the landlady would have even looked if we had said something. Unfortunately we forgot to tell you in the morning.We will drive towards Altmühltal again in the spring for a few days. We would be happy to come back.

I can only judge the food and the service. Arrived for dinner with a coach and around 40 guests. The landlady had known about the bus guests' food since the morning.Unfortunately arrived late, but announced, about an hour.IN ADVANCE: Kitchen and waitresses overwhelmed. Landlady extremely unfriendly to tour guide and also various guests, service completely overwhelmed and sometimes very rude: "No time now, today it's all chaos..., get your cutlery yourself".Food distribution, even though it was known, there was a wait of more than an hour! Even a simple sausage salad takes over 60 minutes to be served. There are only sparse remains on the salad bar. One of the bus guests is a landlady herself, it would have taken at most 20-30 minutes to feed all the guests.Hardly any dish was appropriate for the price: noodles were totally overcooked, French fries were probably warmed up in the microwave -- very hard, (several) schnitzels were very thin and just not good, curry sausages so-so, roast pork and dumplings were still ok, although the gravy was probably a simple powder sauce... Completely unreasonable for the prices!Women's restroom rather clean, but no paper towels/hand dryer fan. Similar to men's toilet.It was a momentary recording or experience, but apparently the country inn is simply not suitable for bus rides!
