The rooms are too hot, window open is a must. Unfortunately the breakfast is not worth the money, €8pp for a lukewarm, disorganized breakfast full of flies. This is also not recommended for someone with allergies, because it is a matter of guessing what you have/get in front of you.

We were cycling along the Danube and stopped here at the Waldgasthof Schiederhof. The approach through the forest is not for leisure drivers but there are other options. The owners gave us a very friendly welcome and we immediately felt at home. Every wish was fulfilled and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Gladly again . Thanks.

The landscape is just as dreamlike as the entire catering! The beer garden has great evening sun and the food is perfection!Dogs are welcome and the innkeepers are more than friendly and accommodating.We are already looking forward to the next time!!!

Beautifully located. We stayed there overnight on our way through. Were there with two dogs. No problem.Unfortunately the kitchen was closed, but we have a wonderful beer garden not far away where everything fits.In the future we will always stay there after returning from the south.

A cute hotel with very nice guests who made our family reunion something special.The food was super tasty. There was a small but fine menu where everyone could find what they were looking for. It was no problem preparing children's portions and the portions for the adults were very generous.

I can't comment on the rooms as we only went to eat. Due to a lack of staff there was only a small daily menu. Nevertheless, there was something for everyone. The service was very friendly and our food was freshly prepared. Since we arrived relatively late for lunch, not all of the dishes on the menu were available. The selection of salad from the buffet was somewhat limited, but it tasted very good, as did the food.

Our experience at Schieder Hof was absolutely outstanding! On our Trans Bayerwald tour we were stranded due to bike damage and were given an extremely friendly welcome by the owner, Christian. We got a very nice room and were treated to a fantastic dinner. The breakfast exceeded all our expectations - perfect for hungry cyclists! The price/performance ratio for the overnight stay and breakfast was exceptionally good given the high quality and great service. Many thanks to the Schieder Hof for the wonderful hospitality!

On the way home from our vacation we chose the inn for a stopover. We were surprised by the warmth of the reception and were welcomed like acquaintances. Even though we arrived later due to weather and traffic, we still got something to eat (tasty cordon bleu, pan-fried and not deep-fried).Rooms very clean and breakfast buffet with everything you need - this was also refilled.The farewell was just as friendly as the reception. People like to come back here and we will too.

A very disappointing experience. We were passing through and had booked an overnight stay. At around 5:30 p.m., we were on the highway about to arrive, we received a call telling us when we would be arriving and whether we wanted to have dinner. Because it is a restaurant, we said yes. We were greeted very rudely and unfriendly, which prompted me to point out that we weren't in the military. Instead of giving us a menu, they wanted to serve us cordon bleue, which we had no appetite for, especially since one of the travelers was vegetarian. The hotel can be canceled free of charge until 5:59 p.m. Since we had lost the desire to spend the night here, we wanted to cancel. After all the back and forth, it was now 6:01 p.m. We were immediately informed that it was 2 minutes too late to cancel. We then ate out and were forced to spend the night here. The room and bathroom were worn out. The hotel apologized in the morning for the events described. That's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one star out of pity.

Arrive - feel good...that's what happened to us. We were very warmly welcomed. A great family business that sticks together.We had a nice big room.Breakfast was very rich, with a little bit of everythingWe ate excellently. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
