A unique, very special place to relax and recharge your batteries with a 5-star feel-good factor. A very beautiful, well-kept facility in the middle of nature. Nicely furnished and, above all, very clean rooms with excellent mattresses! The lounge in the entrance area and the restaurant are very attractively furnished. There is a beautiful spa area, also very clean and very feel-good. The entire house exudes a lot of peace. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. The owner, Ms. Brunert, feels like she is everywhere in the house at the same time and always takes care of every guest's concern. Because of her personal efforts, we were able to receive or carry out both massages and a meditation with progressive muscle relaxation as a private lesson at very short notice. This was a very special highlight of the stay, carried out by Ms. Julia Weiß and also highly recommended! We only booked 3 nights with our friends, but afterwards we felt like we had been on a week-long wellness holiday and experienced total inner relaxation. We'll be back. THANK YOU for this unforgettable stay to the entire team at Aquaquell im Pilzweg and to Ms. Brunert in particular!

We, three good, old friends, came from Vienna and Frankfurt at the beginning of August to see each other again here in Bad Pilzweg. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place than the Hotel Aquaquell in the middle of nature but still close to the town of Fürstenzell! The operator and the entire team were attentive and interested in our well-being at all times. The breakfast offering was very varied and healthy, especially because of a daily changing special such as white sausage, omelette or cream puffs. We also really enjoyed the restaurant! We always look back fondly on the great family atmosphere, warm-heartedness and the joy we felt! We will be happy to come back and can only recommend that anyone who would like to do something good for their health on holiday should drink the Aqua Vitalis offered here, breathe deeply in the small, in-house graduation house (favorite room), strengthen the immune system in the sulfur spring water pool and relax in the sauna area! Watch the birds in the beautiful garden and unwind. Here you can really switch off and relax. The hotel management also continually develops its range of health-related offerings. A special experience during our travel time was that we met the band members of the Spider Murphy Gang at the cozy bar, who had given a concert in the Klosterhof in Fürstenzell! This doesn't happen in every hotel! We are grateful for this time and wish Ms. Brunert and her team good luck, health and success! See you soon!

Very nice hotel with a wonderful wellness area. The reception staff were very friendly but unfortunately the reception was not very busy. The rooms were actually very nice, but the floor creaks a lot and the water runs out of the shower, so the whole floor is under water. Friday and Saturday there is also dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately the waiter wasn't really talented. Using flip-flops on coarse paving stones is rather suboptimal. He also spilled the entire tray of drinks at our table.Price-performance ratio was okay and we would come back.

Unfortunately we only had a partially good stay here. First of all, our booking wasn't completely in the system. This was solved professionally, which was only half as bad for our travel group. Unfortunately, there were several problems with the service in the restaurant, from incorrect to non-arrival dishes despite repeated requests. Tables in the restaurant area were also served randomly. Not okay in the price range of the hotel, especially since the food and meal time were communicated in advance. The food itself was very tasty.The problems mentioned can probably all be traced back to the apparently thin staffing levels and management in the hotel. I wish that the hotel improves the situation with better staffing levels and, if necessary, a revision of the service concept, but unfortunately it is currently not worth the price.

Very nice staff. It is a nice place to spend the night and as a stopover, especially after a long day in the car, you can enjoy the sauna and swimming pool. Afterwards you can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious menu.

Anyone looking for peace and relaxation has come to the right place. Lovingly furnished rooms and friendly people. A nice swimming pool and a great breakfast buffet. There is enough parking space and ... an ideal starting point for exploring neighboring cities such as Passau or Schärding. You can also rent e-bikes, it couldn't be more practical!When choosing a room, you should avoid the 2nd floor (under the roof) in summer, as it gets quite hot there.Recommended anyway 👍.

Noisy, old wooden building. Floor creaks when you walk in the room. Bed also creaks. No air conditioning. Alternative cuisine. Dishes with lots of vegetables and flowers. Vegan. Not our taste. Furthermore, neatly clean and good service. It was a stopover for us so the kids could swim in the pool.

The Hotel “AquaQuell” offers the opportunity to completely relax. Because the hotel is somewhat remote and surrounded by meadows and trees, it offers a beautiful and quiet atmosphere. When the weather is good, you can enjoy the good air and the singing birds on the terrace or on a lounger in the park, protected from the shade of the trees. But it's not just the location that brings relaxation, but also the extensive wellness offerings. The hotel has a wellness area that includes two saunas, a steam room, two pools and a graduation tower. The water in the pools comes from a sulfur spring, but is filtered so that it no longer emits a sulphurous smell. The windows in the swimming area and in the relaxation room face the park and allow you to enjoy the beautiful green flora. Peace and quiet is also guaranteed in the wellness area, as children are not allowed to enter it while the sauna is in operation. After a relaxing day, which you can spend in nearby Passau, for example, I recommend enjoying dinner as part of half board. The food is so good that it could be counted as wellness. If it were possible I would give the food 6 stars! The chef must be an artist - not only is the food incredibly well prepared, but also beautifully presented. The individual ingredients harmonize incredibly well with each other. The food is also healthy and there is always a vegetarian option. In general, many products in the hotel come from organic farming, such as in the breakfast buffet. I was really very impressed with the kitchen.In addition to all the praise, I would like to add a small criticism: The stability of the Internet can be improved somewhat. In addition, the selection of the breakfast buffet could be expanded (including chocolate spread). And finally, I'm afraid that it could get very hot in some rooms in midsummer, despite the blinds.Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel! I was able to relax very well and would like to come back. The price-performance ratio is also very good.
