Beautiful hotel located near the subway. Our room was new, large, very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast is world class. There is a huge selection, especially for vegetarians. On our first evening we ate in the small but nice restaurant. The portions were small, but we loved the food. Kudos to the chef. The service was phenomenal, Karin made our visit special!

We would particularly like to emphasize the very good and attentive service orientation of the employees; we felt in good hands and looked after. Even with very specific requests (external doctor care was necessary) we were well advised and looked after.From our point of view, the breakfast buffet is very lavish, so the day started off very positively. There is something for every taste.The location of our room facing the garden was very quiet - and the view of the greenery and the cozy and pretty garden was simply beautiful.In summary, we can say that we will visit this hotel again on our next stay in Munich. The good connection to local transport saved us having to drive into the center of Munich.

SWEAT LODGE- NO AC.This hotel doesn't have AC in the room, or anywhere for that matter. I have never in my life experienced any hotel, in any country, that didn't have AC. I did not even think to check if they had AC, just like I didn't check to see if a bed or toilet was provided. It was in the 80's during the day and at night it felt like a sweat lodge, even with the door to the balcony open. We requested a fan, but that was merely a minor help as it only blew around the warm air. I have never been so dissatisfied with a hotel. Ever.

This hotel was a disappointment. The location was odd, though the gardens were beautiful. Also the bed was comfortable. The service was minimal. The parking was 19 euros in a residential area though there was plenty of street parking. The balcony was nice but old, rotting, and needed cleaning or replacement. But the worst part— it was hot, and they didn’t even have a fan to lend us!! The second worst part— no coffee in the room! These two last items made our not cheap room just not pleasant. Also the decor was dated. Sorry, I can’t recommend!

The Rothof has been our first house in Munich for years. Quiet location, beautiful garden in the middle of the city, restaurant operation again with a top chef, great breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff - all in all a gem that we return to again and again.

This hotel is a pearl in Munich. Stylish rooms that have been designed to a high standard down to the last detail and have comfortable furniture invite you to linger. There is also a small minibar. From the balcony I had a fantastic view of the beautiful garden, which could also be described as a park.The manager of the hotel has everything under control and pampers her guests with an authentic warmth that is second to none. The employees are very accommodating and keep everything spotlessly clean.The breakfast is a delight. Guests can enjoy the finest cheese, a huge selection of delicatessen and a large selection of fresh fruits in the sunshine in the beautiful garden. The breakfast room is also beautiful.Conclusion: This hotel is something very special. The attention to detail is visible everywhere and nothing is left to be desired.

Simply recommended! The boutique hotel is modern, furnished with a lot of love and heart and has a beautiful courtyard in the garden. For some time now, the Rothof has been offering sensationally good cuisine, run by the Italian chef Livio. The wine list is also great. We were personally welcomed by the director, Ms. Spreitzer, and pampered by the service team. As regular guests, we always enjoy coming to the Rothof, they are currently of a very high standard and for us they are an absolute insider tip in Munich.

Very nice place in a park in Munich-Bogenhausen. Nice design, really good rooms with a view of the greenery and great breakfast. Unfortunately, the room prices fluctuate like in the bazaar. And, what makes it feel worse is that the reception management can't even deal with any problems that arise in terms of communication with any degree of style - and the management leaves it at that. Not a recommendation if you value good communication and don't want to be lectured unpleasantly. Otherwise a good tip!

Small but nice hotel. Very clean, very nice staff. We got an upgrade to the Pavilion Room (for whatever reason) which was great! Nice and quiet, stylishly furnished, everything you need. Thanks for that!Breakfast was excellent. So much choice...everything fresh and delicious.Staff always nice and helpful.Good connection to the subway. You walk for 5-10 minutes.We would be happy to come back and can recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We were in this house twenty years ago and now spent two days there on the way back from South Tyrol. The breakfast in the beautiful garden is great. Unfortunately this time we had a room on the side of the street, which was a bit noisy in the morning. We'll pay attention to that next time. Otherwise everything was great!

We felt so comfortable in the Rothof. We traveled for the first time with our little daughter (2 months). I would particularly like to highlight the warm, friendly and at the same time professional staff throughout the hotel - from reception to breakfast. We really liked the rooms, generously sized, cozy and stylishly furnished, all in all very high quality! We will be back definitely. Especially because of the incredibly delicious and generous breakfast buffet...

Parkhotel Rothof is full of character and has a lovely, calm atmosphere. It is very convenient for access to the city centre by U Bahn but with it’s spacious rooms and outside space, it is also a pleasant place to return to at the end of the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Munich.

Very pleasant hotel with lovely park out back. There is a slightly chaotic vibe amongst the staff, but they are friendly and they try their best. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and there are no screens on the windows so not recommended for the summer months.
