Not a castle but more of a ruin. The many pictures on the internet are misleading. The rooms in the annex are marginal, the mini bathroom with mini sink is an imposition. A thin cardboard door to the next room really allows all noises to pass through. Rarely have I had such a bad room and when I did, it was for a much cheaper price. The problem with the parking spaces (quantity, location, clarity) is still unresolved.The only positive thing was the breakfast, selection and quality are fine.

Nice people, but hotel......was housed in a residential building. Normal tenants also lived there...The castle is in a disastrous condition.

We actually wanted to eat something. But there are these "No Dogs" signs everywhere... I have no idea what happened to the lords of the castle, but we won't be coming back.

A friend of ours (68 years old) wanted to celebrate her birthday there. When she arrived, she didn't find the "beautiful property" advertised on the Internet, but rather some difficult onesoutdated individual buildings. The whole area is not very appealing or not at all appealing! The water came out of the tap as a yellow-green-brown broth, so the friend didn't want to take a shower or even get into a tub like that. (Photo was taken). The refund of the prepaid room price was refused.

I always love coming here, no matter whether I'm in the area for business or pleasure... always the first point of call, even if it's sometimes very spontaneous... the girls and the gentleman at the reception are super friendly and always very accommodating.. .always try to make everything possible..Small details can definitely still be improved, but everything doesn't always have to be perfect....Now I can say it's like my second home, I really enjoy being here..

Hands off !!!We booked this accommodation for our bike tour along the Havel. Got apartment 3... the castle is a ruin, the rooms may have been renovated at some point. Otherwise the furnishings are a disaster...rooms on the south side without darkening. Hotter in the room upon arrival than outside. No fridge, no fan.So if you want to spend the night in the castle you should give it a wide berth. We didn't even look at the cobwebs on windows, walls, under the bed.Lt. According to those who work here, the owner has no interest in making it more comfortable or attractive for the guests.The Schloßschänke, where you go for breakfast, is rustic and appropriate for the place. Small dishes and a good breakfast buffet. The service is friendly and the view of the Havel is romantic.

Nice botel right on the water. Rooms were quite good, the bathrooms were very small and cramped. Difficult for tall and/or wider people, especially with regards to the shower. The room we had, despite being on the ground floor, was not suitable for disabled people (that wasn't what we wanted, but it may be relevant for some of the other readers here).The room we had had plenty of power outlets (often in short supply in other hotels). There are also 7 sockets in the bathroom (estimated at 1.5m²).Breakfast was adequate. It is possible to sit outside - even during breakfast.The castle hotel is located in a cul-de-sac surrounded by a park, single-family houses and water and has 2 gravelled parking spaces not far from the reception (30-50m).

I wasn't in the hotel. Just on the banks of the Born river for a coffee at the self-service snack bar, which is always good. There are also homemade cakes, bockwurst and ice cream. So thumbs up.

We rented a houseboat for 2 days. The only good thing is the location right on the Havel. The “Schlosshotel” is a ruin, a small part of which has been renovated. The whole facility appears unkempt. The houseboats are overpriced and only offer the facilities that are suitable for a youth hostel. Uncomfortable chairs. Furnishings only the bare essentials. Spider webs everywhere.The crowning glory is the breakfast room. For 14! There is a breakfast that is not worth €5. Every craftsman's guesthouse can do it better. Guys, spend your money elsewhere. There is nothing “exclusive” here.
