Space Night Berlin is a highlight not only for little guests, but also for older guests.Capsules are sufficiently large, unfortunately the mattress is a bit sagging. Not ideal for people with backs.😅 But you can make up for it with a second blanket, which you can pick up at reception without growling or complaining. The receptionist and good soul of the house. Connie is truly a sweetheart who will devote her entire time to making your stay even more pleasant. Unfortunately the escalators don't work. Which, as I learned, has nothing to do with the hostel, but rather with the operator of the building. Both lifts are fully functional. The service staff also go to great lengths to ensure that you have a pleasant and, above all, clean stay. I find bathrooms sufficient and modern and most importantly clean…. Sufficient towels. Great location near the Alex and easily accessible by bus. However, parking spaces here in downtown Berlin are such a thing.😅I would still come back at any time and have already wholeheartedly recommended it to my friends and acquaintances❣️ Great value for money...

the sleeping pods looked cool! But here are some things you need to know:- there are only usb type "socket" inside the pod so if you have usb-c charger it's a but inconvenient bcs you need to charge thru the socket outside the pod- bring slippers !- it's a bit hot inside the pod (more in summer) tho there's a fan but it's not so strong- expect it to be a typical hostel, be quiet pls!They clean bathroom and toilet few times a day so they're clean :) it was a very nice experience. I will book again here if I return to berlin :)))

Location good. It's a little hidden. The bed model is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.He clarified that the plugs are not working inside as soon as we arrived, they said that the cell phones used to explode and break that's why they took them out. You have to charge your cell phone outside the capsule which made it very uncomfortable.Moving center is uncomfortable! For 20 euros more you get a hotel room with a private bathroom!I wouldn't go back

Your own cabin is comfortably furnished and offers everything you need for a pleasant night's sleep: from air conditioning and good lighting to a reading lamp and a practical bedside table.The sanitary facilities consist of individual, lockable bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink, which guarantee peace and privacy.The location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside the door leading to Potsdamer Platz or Rotes Rathaus. In the immediate vicinity you will find a bakery, Lidl, Rossmann and a kebab shop - everything for your daily needs.Conclusion: Ideal for travelers who are looking for an inexpensive place to stay or simply want to have a new experience.

Cool experience spending a night there! But bring ear plugs with you because you can hear everything around you. Fresh towels available, lockable lockers for enough space (I was able to store my hand luggage suitcase + backpack). Bathrooms are ok, unfortunately sometimes dirty, it depends on who was in the bathroom before you. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed two nights in a double capsule, which was a funny experience. As far as hostel capsules go, they're completely fine. The only thing I would say is they get very hot, even with the air conditioning on all night and the walls are very thin. Overall the staff were friendly, the bathrooms are very nice and I slept two pretty good nights here.

This hostel was so cool, fantastic idea. I really felt like I was in a space movie! The staff were super friendly, the bathrooms were completely private wet rooms and always clean. The pods were top notch, clean and you can adjust the lighting etc. the only thing is that they get very warm! Other than that we had a great stay!

Here you only get what you book: a capsule to sleep in. The bathrooms are absolutely great. And the cabins are absolutely okay for sleeping.The price was good too.If you need peace and quiet, book the Hilton.My night was quiet.

I am positively surprised by the capsule. It is very comfortable and easy to endure. A bit noisy, you can hear the ventilation on site and if someone is snoring nearby. The individual bathrooms are clean. You get a towel and bed linen (everything is already in the capsule) and if you need more towels, just ask at reception. There is also a small camping table attached to the capsule that you can set up.The signage on the street can be improved, a slightly larger notice would be great.But overall recommended and as I said, it's cozy.No problem without breakfast, there is a good bakery downstairs.

It's a bit hard to rate this place, cause in some way you get what you pay for and in some way you don't. If we had read the reviews very extensively we wouldn't have booked this. We expected the best of 2 worlds: hostel atmosphere, common areas but the comfort of having your own space especially for improved sleep quality. We got the worst of 2 worlds cause there is no proper common area and the capsules are just plastic panels providing barely any sound proofness, make it too hot inside and the thin mattress on a wood plank doesn't help either. Yes it's a hostel we know, but at least in a hostel you have a bed and proper mattresses. We checked out 11pm day one with a reservation for a second night, for the simple reason we were not expecting to be able to catch any sleep there. The second star is for the staff who were kind enough to refund our second night. If you just want a cheap bed, sleep with ear plugs and don't care about the atmosphere this place may not be even too bad for you.

I actually had a good stay here, when I read the reviews here I was a bit skeptical to be honest, but everything I experienced at space night was very pleasant. The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful, they showed me around when I first arrived, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of this place!! They do have a separate storage room for big suitcase, I put mine there and saw many others put their big bags, no one had any issue. The staff’s room is just right inside the storage room and they have cameras, so hopefully this will bring you a peace of mind.Inside the capsule it was very clean and sci-fi vibes!! I loved it a lot and there’s air ventilation, I didn’t feel too cold at night at all it was the right temperature. The air was not blowing on my face either. I had my earplugs on so I slept quite well and didn’t really hear any noise (I’m usually quite sensitive), the only thing is the neighbor upstairs, I did hear him/her coming out the capsule once or twice, guess the sound was inevitable. But still not really a big deal. I was quite lucky people were respectful, after 10pm I didn’t even hear anyone talking outside so I fell asleep quite smoothly.Overall, it’s a good experience for a solo traveler for a short stay. Location is also quite close to so many tourist attractions and bus stop is just right outside, the concept is really cool. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Berlin.

It's a fun experience, but no comparison to other capsule hotels.The entrance area is shabby and dirty, the escalators are broken and there is no sign indicating this. There is an elevator, even without a sign.Access to the hotel itself is completely unsecured, so theoretically strangers could roam the corridors at any time.The upper capsules are only easily accessible for very athletic people; everyone else has to put in a bit of effort.The capsules themselves are rather thin and poorly insulated, the mattresses are sagging and you can really feel the board underneath.The USB port in the capsule doesn't work, only for very old devices - very unfashionable. In front of the capsules, sockets hang from the ceiling where you could theoretically charge your devices, but they are not secured.The toilet and shower cubicles are no longer so clean in the evenings and have no ventilation or air conditioning - it is extremely hot and humid in there. The sensors on the sink go off immediately and the plugs are missing in almost all sinks.Earplugs, sleeping masks and flip flops should be sold there because people urgently need all of these things there.The staff is very friendly and always there. You can take as many towels as you need, that's good.It's better than a normal hostel with shared rooms, but for 15€ more you can get a real hotel...

Great value here for a fun stay. The space pods are quite nice and the staff are great. The pods have great air conditioning so not sure why people are saying it was hot in the pods. The bathrooms are all private with locks and all so that's really good too.Definitely being shower shoes!! But the staff provide tons of towels and the bedding and pillows and all.Would definitely stay again.

So first of all I have to say the Space Night Hostel is okay but rather a bad okay. I stayed there for 2 nights and slept a total of 4 hours in 2 nights. The capsules are not soundproofed. You can really hear everything and nothing is done about loud residents. Guests arrive at the hotel until 4 a.m. and the alarm clocks go off at 4:30 a.m. Charging is only possible with USB 2.0 or anything above it. But in the hallway there are sockets hanging from the ceilings.Not everything is bad. The reception is permanently staffed by mostly very nice employees. There are towels and the showers and washrooms, which can be locked, are super clean.However, I wouldn't go here again because I didn't really enjoy Berlin due to the massive lack of sleep.P.s. The escalator and the elevator (you have to take it to get to the hostel) are really bad and dirty

We were here as a couple, in a double cabin at the end of September. We slept very well here, but there are also some points to consider.The cabins cooled down considerably at night, but that was actually nice. The cabins have no temperature control and are made of very cheap plastic (so not insulated). I can well imagine that it is a different story in summer and winter.Furthermore, the beds are hard (thin mattress on wooden plank) and the units are very noisy. Not a problem for us, but something to consider. Know that your neighbors can hear everything you do and say.The sanitary facilities were impressive, spacious and clean bathrooms. At busy times, wait a maximum of 15 minutes. Very fine for a hostel.What I really found lacking is a common area. This causes people to gather around the units, making it a bit noisy.

The isolation is terrible. I could hear the others talking and everytime the person above move, there would be a huge sound in the lower capsule. Could hardly fall asleep and will be waken several times in the night. Only USB chargers is available in the capsule, so unconvenient! However, the staffs are very nice and the location is great.

Someone sadly stole my jacket, when I accidentally forgot it in one of the bathrooms. I told a lady at the reception about it, but no one brought anything to the reception, nor did the cleaners find anything.The next day, my food wasn't in the fridge anymore. My suggestion would be: don't use the fridge and make sure that you don't forget anything.It was also pretty noisy and it was hot in the capsules, even though we didn't use the lights, like it was recommended to us. We were there during the autumn time. Earplugs and a sleeping mask is needed. Trust me,😅The staff is nice though and the hostel looks great on the inside. The location is also great. You can visit points of interest on foot without any issues (if you're used to walking). There's also a bus stop (almost) right in front of the hostel.It's an okay stay, if it's not for too long and you keep an eye on your stuff.
