The staff are nice but everything else was pretty bad. It's in a more unsafe area so I didn't feel super safe staying there as a 20 odd year old girl. The facilities aren't super clean either but the building is cool. Overall I'd only recommend if there wasn't any other options

Value for money completely okay. For the price, you can't expect a fragrant, private bathroom 😅But you should invest in new lockers in the room. Half of them stopped working.

Was a guest in the hostel during the week and couldn't complain about anything. The bathrooms were clean, as were the rooms. Sure, everything is a bit rocky but completely ok for the price. I can't say what it looks like there at the weekend, but it's exactly the right place for a short visit to Berlin without any major demands.

Key cards work only on a good day. The place is otherwise kind of trashy and everything is dirty, though the staff was very friendly and helpful.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!! Please. The hostel is dirty, they charge you an additional €4 for sheets and they are also dirty. The days I was there there was a man repairing the door, they didn't notify us, the whole room smelled of chemicals. When I told them at reception, the man was very rude, he told me that this was my problem because I didn't know how to travel in hostels. I told him that please I needed a solution because I paid for a place to rest, not for a place that smelled so much of chemicals that we had to leave the room. The man changed my room and moved me to another one that smelled very bad and had very dirty sheets.Here are some photos of things that happen in a hostel where they don't care about you as a guest.

Well, where do I start? The rooms simply stank. You get the feeling that the staff don't care about anything and always answer NO instead of finding a solution together. Lockers have no lock, bathroom/toilet unkempt, dirty and smells of urine. Cleanliness is zero and the best thing is > they rip you off too.The beds were very comfortable and the location is really great. Very good for the price but all in one you can at least expect human rights despite the low costs. They also speak English.I had better hostels in Berlin and wanted to try another one. I should never have done that... Conclusion: I will NEVER come here again

We 3 men stayed in a 4 people room and nobody came unlike some comments in here. The bathrooms were not so good and rooms kinda missing something. Receptionist guy was a very nice person. Overall it's 4/5

The word communication is not know with this hostel.We had a room with 5 girls and the last bed was free. Then suddenly at 2 am a man comes into the room claiming he has the last bad. Imagine our shook and surprise. We weren't informed that someone outside our group would sleep in the same room, which is creepey, if you are not informed. At the time there was no one at the reception desk so had to sleep with an unknown man in the same room. The man later told us he made his bed, while we weren't in the room. But our stuff was there as we believed to be alone in the room.Secondly there was no prio communication about the towels for which you have to pay 2 € each. Would we have know we would have brought our own.Thirdly if you have a tiny bit of a hygiene standard stay away. The toilets and showers weren't clean and neither we the rooms.You hear everything on your floor and the floor above you so if you are a light sleeper you won't get any sleep.The location is ok but that was the best about everything.

I have never seen a accommodation this disappointing! If you have any ounce of self-respect left....just don't!!Hygiene is a foreign word over there!! I've been to public toilets cleaner than that!! And let's not talk about the horror they call showers over there!We had a expecially unpleasant and upsetting incident. We were 5 women sleeping in a room for 6 people and nobody told us somebody booked the 6th bed. Suddenly around 2 that night a unknown man entered our room...fortunately he was respectful but you could guess how shocked we were. Situations like this are dangerous and could backfire!!My standards are not high but you can't expect people to pay money for this joke!

5 friends, booked a whole room including the 6th bed for us so it would be all to ourselves. In the middle of the night around 2 am a stranger entered the room with a key card claiming it's his room as well, even though we already booked it for us. Not nice. Very unprofessional. Uncomfortable for him, extremely uncomfortable for the group of half naked sleeping girls that were promised a room to ourselves, obviously. Not clean, no available towels unless you rent them for 2€ per towel. Disgusting showers. Need to put on bedsheets and stuff by yourself as well as removing them and throwing them away by yourself. Mold in the bathroom and showers. No paper towels, barely any toilet paper. As soon as you enter the bathrooms you see naked people entering showers, no safety when opening the bathroom door for the shower people. Beds are comfortable to sleep in, bedding though is way to warm. Broke a sweat during the night at 5 degrees outside. Too expensive for all that matters.We are simple creatures that are happy with a bed and really don't aim for much but this, this has been a horror story. For the same price, could have afforded a good hotel nearby (we didn't want to walk that much so that seemed totally enough for us).

Tired of nighttime confrontations?If you want to book a shared room, it shouldn't be a problem for you to move a stranger out of your bed (made up & with personal items) at night if you don't get to sleep until later in the evening. That's how it was conveyed to me when it happened to me. My friend and I's beds were both occupied. All the other beds in the room were (legally) occupied, so we couldn't just move to another one.What should be emphasized positively: We immediately got a replacement room after we dialed the emergency number at night. To our surprise, there was even an empty four-person room just for us.The next morning we were told that we would have to expect this if we slept in a hostel. I've stayed in a few very cheap hostels in different countries and this has never happened to me. I should have marked my bed "as occupied" (which is what happened) and persuaded the non-sober man to let me use my bed.We then spontaneously spent the planned 2nd night somewhere else because we didn't want to look after our beds from 10 p.m., since that sort of thing is apparently to be expected :DI would like to mention, however, that the women who also worked at the reception were very friendly and that our alternative room was spacious and had large windows.I wouldn't come back

I don't think I've ever felt compelled to leave a negative review, but goddamn, if it's not one thing it's another. By far the dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in hostels all over Europe and the US). You have to buy your bed linens for an extra €4 (some hostels I've stayed at have required a deposit for the linens, but usually they are just included in the booking price). The showers are very moldy and mildewed, and if you want to take a shower at night, be prepared to wave your arms around every thirty seconds because the bathroom lights are motion activated and don't stay on very long. The bathrooms also almost always smelled like literal shit and the floor was always covered with water. There was a mirror in the bathroom on my first night, but it was super cracked, and then it was gone by the second day, so no mirror. The elevator is broken, so I had to lug my 65lb suitcase up the stairs to the third floor. The common area closes at 11pm, and there is no food allowed in the rooms, so don't plan on eating here if you are arriving back late from the club or wherever, because you can't be anywhere other than your room, the hallway, or the stairs past 11pm. There are plenty of other hostels in Berlin that are far superior for only €10-€15 more. I would recommend Three Little Pigs Hostel or Sunflower Hostel. The best part was the Moroccan restaurant next door called Rissani that has delicious falafel and shawarma wraps for €4-€4.50, but you can also find cheap food all over Berlin sooo....

There is no kitchen. The service is just a nightmare, for 12 nights. I paid 360€ and what I got was a stained bed, holes in the walls and no washing machine. Thank you for the free hot water at the Reception

Don't do this to yourself if you have even an ounce of self-respect in you, really. Any club toilet on a Saturday night is cleaner than the toilets and showers in this hostel. Things don't necessarily look any better in the rooms either. An error was made during my check-in, which is why I had to move again on the second night of my stay. I had booked 5 nights here but have now booked another accommodation for the remaining 3 nights in Berlin because it is really unreasonable.Okay at most for one night if you know you don't want to shower.
