The first time on a business trip to Berlin. I was looking for something that wasn't that far removed from our customer. Off to the WWW and entered the capital G, searched and searched and found.Wernicke - The Original.Called, unfortunately didn't reach anyone, but got a call back after less than 5 minutes. Everything was discussed and clarified over the phone. The Wernicke family is very friendly.Unfortunately, due to the current construction site on the street, parking spaces are very limited. But here too, Ms. Wernicke helped me immediately and provided a parking space.The associated restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These are also the times when you can meet someone on site. Since I arrived on Monday, my key would be placed in a key safe in front of the apartments.The room was big enough for me, clean and had everything I needed.If you don't want to miss out on breakfast, you can do it Tuesday-Sat. Enjoy in the restaurant from 9 a.m.Since I only need one night instead of two, the Wernicke family presented me with a solution.All in all a pleasant stay.Thank you for the great service.Greetings MarcusP.S. Before I started the journey home, I treated myself to a schnitzel with a fried egg and fried potatoes in the restaurant. It tasted very good and strengthened me for the journey home.

Very nicely furnished room and very nice host, completely sufficient for 2 people for a short stay. The journey into the city by car takes a little longer, but it doesn't detract from the guesthouse, we were super satisfied.

A pretty little guesthouse with breakfast options. Very diverse. price-performance is great. And we received incredible, friendly and personable service. The food was delicious. And the dining area was very nice and cozy. We will be happy to come back!

Super nice room for solo travelers or couples. When the windows are open you can hear the surrounding area very well. However, since there is air conditioning, you can almost always keep the windows closed. I would book again.

Small, nice restaurant with good service and good value for money. Breakfast and cabbage rolls are highly recommended, so you should also reserve a table.

Unfortunately there were only light rolls for breakfast and the rest was not of good quality in my opinion. Discounter sausage and cheese salad...Positively nice service and it was nicely presented. Drinks extra for the price. You can get a better breakfast on Bahnhofstrasse

Unfortunately the cabbage roulade was out, which means it was freshly made, so I ate matjes with fried potatoes and waited a bit, which in turn indicates that it was freshly prepared. What this chef conjures up in the small kitchen deserves my respect. The service is top, I met two old lichtenraderers there today and we talked about the past. I can only warmly recommend the Wernicke, please go there and help the small restaurateurs to survive, you won't be disappointed there, it's down-to-earth cuisine is delicious.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Wernicke and we were THRILLED. It was a wonderful wedding thanks to Wernicke, the food was really good and all of our guests were thrilled. The Wernicke is simply humane and down-to-earth, even when it comes to prices.I can only recommend spending the night there. A very big thank you again. We would celebrate there again and again.
