La Paradis Villa

A wonderful stay away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. The staff are so wonderful & the villas are lovely and spacious. Although the property is now a bit outdated, we still found it relaxing and comfortable.

The location is very good. You can walk to the beach at sunset and get off very well that way. The room itself was also good. The bed was comfortable. But the outside area needs to be renovated. The pool somehow didn't have a filter at all, so it was always dirty. The chlorine level was also quite high. The boards on the floor were already loose in one place or another.The staff always tried hard, but a lot of things had to be addressed first - for example, that there were lots of insects in the pool water.In general everything could be a little cleaner.Breakfast was good and was brought to the room.

Staff were incredible everyone was friendly and the lady at reception was lovely. Food provided was great. Rooms were clean and aircon was cold thankfully as it was extremely hot & humid day and night. Only issue was the bathroom sink was slowly blocking up and seemed the toilet was cleaned with some watered down cleaning product and that’s it but it was a cosy room. Pool was good and lovely gardens

Stayed here for 4 nights 5days. Customer service was very good. Ana is always ready to help you with a smile. Rooms are a bit outdated but comfortable. Pool was clean. Villa is tucked in a quiet spot, cannot hear any traffic noise. Villa is situated near several awesome restaurants and cafe’s just meters away. Beach is not to far. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend, this place was lovely. Ana and her team made us feel very welcome and were professional and courteous. We loved our private villa, proximity to the beach and cafes, and the ease of getting here from the airport (we arranged a taxi with the same online booking platform we used to book this resort). The property itself felt both comfortable and luxurious. We got massages in our villa overlooking the pool deck for exceptional value. We would definitely come back and we would also highly recommend La Paradise to anyone wanting to treat themselves at a place with great value for money.

Nice, calm, quiet place with very beautiful views! Great for a few days at the very beginning or end of your vacation! Stay in silence, swim in the pool and drink a bottle of dry red or white! :)

1. Tired old villas (there are cracks everywhere, smudges on the walls, water stains)2. The room and area of ​​the villa are very dirty.3. The smell of moisture and dampness in the room and the smell of sewage in the toilet (I had to plug the sink). The room is also very humid, because the air conditioning does not work well - which is why the beds are always damp and it stinks terribly.4. Pillows on the beds are not comfortable.5. Absolutely dirty, smoky and with holes from cigarettes - there was no desire to lie on them.6. Rusty lamps near the beds (seen in the photo). When we asked if this was normal, we were told that it was OK!!!!7. Absolutely old and dirty bathrooms, where water constantly accumulates on the floor, also disgusting water pressure in the sink, which sprays water around the entire sink. On the second floor of the villa the drain in the sink did not work well.8. All sockets are coming out of the walls, some don’t work at all. I had to charge my equipment in the bathroom. There were 3 working sockets on the entire first floor.9. The floors near the villa near the pool are made of broken tiles with hatches, where you constantly trip over these holes (you can see in the photo), there is an old board laid near the pool, where the children got splinters every day.10. Room service is disgusting (poor cleaning with stains on the glass, stains left on the shelves from previous guests, every now and then torn and stained bed linen is laid out (see photo), dusty, when cleaning they forget to take out the trash, they forget and leave the rags they used to clean the room right in front of the sink, they couldn’t put more toilet paper - I had to remind you). Once they even tried to pick up the garbage, but they forgot a bag of smelly garbage right next to the sunbeds. So-so experience when you return to the villa late in the evening.11. Breakfast is also disgusting and not tasty - monotonous. All juices are diluted with ordinary water by 70-80%, instant coffee is not drinkable. We ordered coffee from neighboring cafes.12. One small drying rack per large villa, which only fits 2-3 towels. When I asked for another one, they refused.13. The day before arrival, they wrote a message that they had problems with electricity and would be accommodated in another villa in another area for one night - they accommodated, but since they had to disassemble and pack their suitcases and deal with moving and rebooking the address for delivery of SIM cards and a bike - one day of rest was lost. As compensation - one hour of SPA in this terrible villa and this is for the management of the villa - Ok.14. When we wanted to leave this dirty villa ahead of schedule, we offered to pay a fine in the form of payment for half the stay - of course we refused and had to live in this terrible villa, which further ruined our impression and time on the island of Bali.The only plus of the villa is the location! There are many restaurants nearby to have breakfast and dinner. There is a great beach nearby where you can watch sunsets and have great surfing.
