Best Air BNB ever.Very beautiful pool and landscape, full of birds' singing sound, and heart-warming service.Room is clear and so large to stay.There are many great restaurant delivered by grab and near to pererenan beach where the sunset is most beautiful.Thank you for memorable experience and fresh coconut(the best coconut I ever drink.)PS. Dog molly and cow are very very cute.

Staying at Makali Temple Village was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. While we were initially unsure due to our late arrival around 1 a.m. – the area gets quite dark at night – any doubts quickly disappeared the moment we stepped inside our villa. It was immaculate, serene, and instantly put us at ease. By day, the place is even more beautiful. The pool, a bright blue oasis, was much larger than expected for a couple, and the villa itself was incredibly spacious.Though the night-time darkness took a little getting used to, it only added to the tranquility of the location. It truly felt like a home away from home. While this isn't a 5-star hotel and there’s no breakfast or complimentary toiletries (although they will help you buy things like toothbrushes upon request), the exceptional service more than made up for it. Dayu, the villa manager, ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. They provide in room massage services so that truly was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Communication through WhatsApp was seamless, and she even arranged our airport transfer when Gojek drivers kept canceling.Although the villa is a bit out of the way, transportation is easy with a car or motorbike. If you’re a fan of walking though it really isn’t too far! There also isn’t a TV, but we liked it. And if you're not fond of bugs, be aware that the villa is surrounded by lush greenery, so there are some tiny critters around, like harmless little millipedes. However, this didn't bother us – we loved the natural setting! There is also a sweet friend named Moli, the villa dog, who takes some time getting used to you but once he does he is such a sweetheart.Overall, it was a fantastic place to unwind. If we got hungry, Gofood was a convenient option for ordering in. We’re already planning our next visit, this time with friends, and we’ll definitely book directly with the villa!

We booked the most expensive room in this villa. We booked it because the view was good, even though it was expensive, even though it wasn't a hotel. However, when we checked in, there was a construction site view with no privacy due to government issues. When we asked why they didn't tell us before checking in and told them that we booked the expensive room just for the view, they just said that it was a government issue and that they couldn't do anything about it. We really didn't want to spend this money on this view, so we asked them to refund us or change rooms and give us the difference, but they said that it wasn't possible due to policy and that we could leave if we wanted, but they wouldn't give us our money. If this isn't a scam, what is? It's so unfair that we have to pay this money for this view. When we kept asking for a refund and told them to go to another hotel, they just said there was nothing we could do, and when we told them that we would report it on the website, they told us to post it. Then they left, saying that other guests were waiting. We spent a lot of time and money on this difficult overseas trip, but we had to stay here without getting a refund and seeing this crappy view. I feel so bad that I can't stand it anymore, so I'm writing this.

What an amazing AMAZING gem of a place!! Easily one of my favourite villas to stay at in Canggu, with its perfect location (7mins walk to my favourite cafe, Woods, and several mins to busy Batu Bolong) and incredible team. Big shoutout to Dayu, the villa manager, for always making sure my friends and I were well taken care of! The entire team are so genuine and made me feel like I’m part of their family.Villa-wise, my god. So beautiful. The pool was fabulous, with a bbq pit perfect for hosting small parties. Our beds and pillows were AMAZING!! And the complimentary tonics, snacks (as well as other features like alkaline water and cocktail shaker) were wonderful finishing touches! I can’t even describe how thoughtful this entire villa was.For those keen on wellness and healing, the villa also provides in-house blessings with the neighbourhood priest. 14/10 recommend this, as it was such a special occasion and filled me with so much gratitude.Already missing my Makali family, and can’t wait to be back!!
