When entering the hotel there was an intense smell of butcher shop which continued throughout the entire hotel area. The hotel has had its best days behind it. The furnishings such as the bathroom leave a lot to be desired. Didn't smell particularly inviting. Especially the shower head. Totally calcified. But there were 2 bottles of mineral water for free.The bed was completely worn out and the bed pillow had seen better days.There was probably a fridge for times too. Unfortunately expanded.There was also no shutter to darken the room.And finally.....I've never seen such a dirty carpet. 😡Conclusion: I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room smells extremeRefrigerated trailer in the yard runs constantly for 45 minutes short break and it continues it is 27 degrees in the room it is 30 degreesWhen asked about the room being extremely warm, it is also warm outsideBathroom smells like choir cleaner so you can taste itCan't recommend it any furtherThere is also a hotel 600 m further down the road

The boss is very, very rude, just because the others don't speak perfect German, she thinks they are insulting you, as the saying goes: they don't understand anything anyway. Yell at other staff in front of others. Very unfriendly. Never this hotel/butcher shop again.

Unfortunately very disappointed. Elevator doesn't work, corridors and rooms smell musty, street noise, cooling system hums all night, faucet and heating with verdigris, very outdated, but halfway OK, faucet splashes because the screen was never cleaned, mattresses slept completely flat, no suspension . Pillows and blankets urgently need to be replaced, light in the staircase is only partiallyCan't recommend it

Both the hotel and the room (also attic) are very cozy. We slept very comfortably.It is also next to Ulm, a highly recommended visit.If we have the opportunity to return, we already know where we will stay again.

Hello, I wanted to get rid of my frustration, the Hotel Schmid in Pfuhl is bottom drawer, no heating, no TV and the boss was very, very unfriendly for many years, it was the worst hotel I have ever experienced, I would not be able to recommend this hotel

Hotel is clean but extremely noisy. There is a butcher shop downstairs, and in the backyard there is a cold store where the unit runs day and night. It's so uncomfortable that you can't sleep without earplugs.There is also probably a 56k modem on the router. Internet has not been possible via WiFi all week.Sad to offer such a standard in 2021...

Super nice, very good breakfast - anything missing is brought straight away!! Tip top clean!!! When I compare it to many other hotels of this size, this hotel is pretty high up!!! The clean bed with a decent mattress, the clean bathroom and the always really friendly staff (every query was responded to promptly and with absolute helpfulness and flexibility) gave me so much that I would book here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Affordable hotel but in need of modernisation. Bed is ok. The room feels very 80s. The bathroom even more so. Beige sanitary objects.... A bit dingy overall impression. Ok for one night. Breakfast satisfactory. Very friendly personnel.
