We didn't feel so comfortable as a family with children. We were also reprimanded several times that we had to hold back.The breakfast buffet, which was so highly rated, was rather average in our opinion: juice from the machine, overcooked scrambled eggs, a very small selection of pre-cut cheese, coffee from the fully automatic machine that didn't taste good.The dinner, however, was very tasty! The service, on the other hand, was very absent. We had to wait forever for our food even though it really wasn't full. Drinks were empty and no one was there to reorder anything. The Kaiserschmarrn tasted more like a ready-made mixture than freshly prepared.There is no play area or toys, just two high chairs. Recommended for couples or children over 12.The wellness area is very, very small. I'm wondering how you can claim the title "Nature Hotel & Spa" when three mini saunas (maximum 4 people) make up the spa area. Then one of ours was defective. As soon as there were more than 6 people in the spa area, it became uncomfortably crowded.We probably won't come back because we were given the feeling that we were disturbing our children.

We were here for a business trip. It is highly recommended, the food was very good and the service was very friendly and quick. Despite a few guests, we never found ourselves with an empty glass after dinner.

An impressive, family-run hotel, which made the whole thing very pleasant. The last renovation of the hotel including the rooms in the style of country inn meets modern has an additional charm, which was implemented very pleasantly. The small but fine menu has enough offerings for both large and small guests. We felt very comfortable!!

We were there for lunch on Easter Sunday. The hotel was probably fully booked and the kitchen was therefore in great demand. Nevertheless, the food was fantastic and the service was incredibly friendly. The junior manager impresses with her authentic, funny manner and although there were small delays in the kitchen due to the holiday, the nice manner of the two ladies in service made this completely irrelevant.The ambience is also a dream. Very tastefully decorated restaurant.Thanks for the nice lunch. We'll be back! :)

As a family with one child, we spent wonderful days in the hotel. You feel warmly welcome here in a family atmosphere. The rooms are nicely decorated. The food (we had half board) is really great and varied. The hotel is beautifully situated in nature and the surrounding area invites you to take beautiful short hikes. The small pool for our son to swim in and the great sauna area to relax in were also nice. The deer enclosure was also a highlight for our little son.

Absolutely recommended in every respect! Great hotel, super nice modern facilities, very well maintained, beautiful wellness area and pool with a great view. You can watch deer from the sauna and pool.The food is incredibly delicious. The Sontheim family is very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back!!!

We were able to enjoy the wellness days and it was just great. The rooms are great, the food was great, the sauna area is beautiful. The staff is super friendly and caters to all needs. Everything is beautifully renovated or new - without seeming too modern. Everything very tasteful. We'll definitely be back 👍
