Nobody was to be found at reception. Ring the bell and no one answers. 20 minutes later someone finally came and took care of my check-in. Supposed breakfast until 10am. I was there at 9:15 and was told that everything had already been dismantled. Room nice and big. However, the hair dryer should be cleaned or replaced as the handle is already sticky. In the morning at 8 a.m. the room service came to clean, even though check out is not until 11 a.m. Overall, I personally don't recommend it.

Really great, family-run hotel, we were there on business for four days in July 2024. Restaurant and kitchen excellent quality, the rooms clean and well-kept, older charm in excellent condition, lots of parking spaces, spa area with pool clean and tidy, guests' wishes are accommodated implemented. The bar also very charming with good cocktails.We felt comfortable here from the first moment and would be happy to come back as soon as we come to the area.Please keep it up.The Born couple and the company Der Isolationprofi

A beautiful hotel from the 70s/80s.The room was clean and good too.The breakfast was ok, the containers for eggs were prepared but there were none. Maybe because I already had breakfast at 7:00.But one thing was very negative and, in my opinion, something that doesn't work.I booked the stay at short notice via the Booking portal, I simply needed a hotel at short notice. When checking in, the (friendly) lady said: “You are the one who booked with Booking at short notice, you have to cancel it immediately.”I was taken by surprise by this unfriendly receptionist (I think also the boss). Since I needed a room, I did so.Of course, I also lost my Paypack points and my 10% cashback.It's a disgrace what they're playing here just to save the booking fee. But I came across the hotel through Booking's advertising.

Great hotel with genuine hospitality. Modern rooms, beautiful, small wellness facility with pool in the historic vaulted cellar. Excellent breakfast. Very nice, well-kept guest garden. Sufficient private parking spaces. Great bar with good drinks.

A beautiful property. Very well maintained and large. The room was well prepared for our two little kids. The south-facing balcony absolutely invites you to relax. The buffet in the morning was very tasty. Not overly large but very nicely presented and absolutely sufficient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the evenings at the bar there are good cocktails and rock music. All in all, a hotel that I would highly recommend and would definitely like to visit a second time. There is nothing to complain about in the surrounding area either. Everything is within walking distance (baker, Edeka, fast food, etc.)The pool was also super pleasant and not too cold.

We had the pleasure of spending the last two days at the Hotel Gerbe in Ailingen on Lake Constance and it was a wonderful experience. The house exudes a charming 70s/80s flair, which we really liked. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent condition of the hotel, which immediately catches the eye.A special highlight is the large, beautiful garden, which really impressed us. Here you can relax and enjoy nature. From the reception to the room to the kitchen and breakfast – everything was perfect and left nothing to be desired. Although there was no air conditioning, we didn't miss it given the current temperatures, which is certainly thanks to the pleasant design of the house.Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try out the spa because we didn't have the time. But that's just another reason why we'll definitely come back.Many thanks to the entire team for the warm hospitality. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hotel Gerbe!

We thought it was a bit of a shame that we had carpet in the room, since the pictures on the internet show the room with parquet. The breakfast is very rich and has everything you could want. We also enjoyed dinner. We'll be back 😊

We spent a weekend in this hotel. Everything in this hotel is perfect, from check-in to the rooms to the cleanliness. All people are very friendly and accommodating, and requests are met. The cleanliness in the wellness area, pool, sauna, etc. is exemplary. The food in the restaurant is also great and the price is justified for what is on offer in terms of taste and portions. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I can only recommend everything. Price/performance is top. Very nice indoor swimming pool (open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.) and various saunas. The breakfast was also great and varied.

I spent a night for work. It is a very quiet place with a gym and swimming pool. Too bad the restaurant closes on Mondays. The breakfast buffet is spectacular.
