We chose this hotel based on its positive reviews and spent our short vacation there. All the reviews are correct and we can only report good things.As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The rooms are modernly furnished and equipped with a Nespresso machine. For breakfast there is a delicious cappuccino that is served and you can choose from various types of bread, rolls, cheese, sausage and jams. We also offer muesli, fruit, vegetables, freshly boiled eggs and much more. If we come to Friedrichshafen again, we will definitely come back to the Hotel Merian. Many thanks to the very nice and friendly staff there!

This hotel is very well designed. The rooms are comparatively generously equipped for a business hotel. Everything newly made and modern design, quiet. The service staff is super nice, helpful and service-oriented. You also get your cappo made and you don't have to get it yourself. The fruit is fresh and delicious. There is everything you could want for breakfast. The only points that could be improved: the beds are too hard for me. I'm a wimp. If you could tell the guests wearing high heels that maybe you shouldn't be walking around on the (very nice) parquet floor at 3 a.m....but that's not long, everyone sleeps sometimes...you can go to the lake Can't see it, but you can get there pretty quickly on foot... great value for money!

A hotel where everything is right.A good starting point for cycling tours, you can also quickly reach the lake and the city center on foot. Still so quiet that you can sleep with the window open at night.The rooms are chic and spacious, were cleaned regularly and were very clean.The breakfast is above all fresh and healthy, there is something for every taste. All employees and owners are friendly and caring.There is a garage for bikes and a charging station for electric cars.Thank you for the lovely time.

The staff here is so lovely, my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Merian while in town for a wedding, visiting from the US. We had rented a car with Avis and ended up with a flat tire in the parking lot. Neither of us speak German but the front desk staff was SO NICE in being patient with us and helping call Avis’ German help line to get our rental car towed. Be warned there is no AC if thats a deal breaker for you. Despite that, would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel, 5 star service!!!!

Very friendly and helpful reception, quiet location, parking spaces in front of the door. The breakfast was appealing and fine. Late check-in was no problem after consultation (thanks again!) and the rooms were very clean. I was there on a business trip and would book the hotel again at any time.

Absolutely fantastic little hotel.Located quietly on a side street. Bus stop into the city within walking distance. Parking spaces directly in front of the house.The rooms are just great: really big, clean and stylish. Likewise the beautiful bathroom. The Nespresso with free capsules makes soooo delicious coffee! Capsules, milk and sugar were refilled daily, as were, of course, clean cups. We had a room with a standing balcony and surprise: smokers are actually thought of in the form of an ashtray. It's a rare find, which made me even happier to enjoy a coffee and a cigarette on the balcony after my arrival.The breakfast was very, very fine: all the dishes on offer were of high quality and the selection of cheese left nothing to be desired. If desired, a fresh, soft-boiled egg. Here everyone will find something to start the day relaxed. The small terrace by the breakfast room is perfect for having breakfast outside when the weather is good. Here, as in the rest of the house, loving details were worked on that immediately caught our eye.Staff super friendly!Dear Merian team - thank you very much for this lovely stay with you. We would absolutely love to come back.

The hotel has a great location, it is in a quiet residential area. In the immediate vicinity you will find various snack bars and a supermarket. The lake can be easily reached within 10 minutes on foot.The rooms are modern and chicly furnished. We didn't miss anything.The breakfast buffet was rather small but still varied.We (partner+me) spent a lovely weekend here and felt completely at home! I can highly recommend it. We will definitely book here again on our next short vacation at Lake Constance.
