I booked this hotel as a business traveler. The required late arrival was no problem after prior arrangement and worked without any problems. The location of the hotel is very central and close to the shopping area and regional court. The parking space was reserved right next to the hotel, which in my opinion justified the price and made my journey a lot easier. It is a multi-story half-timbered house. One thing I really enjoyed was that there was no industrial noise, as is common in many modern hotels. No constantly humming ventilation system or bathroom fan. The bathroom had a window. The house was very quiet at night. The furnishings are not luxury, but the beds in my room were good and it was spacious. There was nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness. The breakfast was simple, but with enough variety and fresh. It's a good hotel to stay overnight. The service at breakfast was very friendly. It is a good hotel to stay overnight with friendly contact without major luxury. It was very suitable for my purposes. One note: The hotel was cash only when I visited, but I experience this in many smaller hotels and was accordingly prepared.

After twelve years we booked this hotel again because we liked it at the time and it's really in a great location in the center of Halle. It is quite rustic. As a guest, you would certainly be happy to have windows that close properly. We cannot confirm the often criticized lack of cleanliness and the poor breakfast. But it's nowhere near what we remember! The boss's quite rough charm is missing; she can no longer be seen in the hotel. The parking option offered on a farm site would be unreasonable even for free. Luckily you can use the nearby parking garage for the same price. What doesn't work at all: Cashless payment is not possible due to a defective device (???). The announced repair did not take place, at least during our stay. A deplorable, hopelessly overwhelmed employee (who had difficulty with the German language - what are English-speaking guests supposed to think?) took a lot of effort to make it clear to us that there were ATMs nearby...Overall a very mixed impression. A pity.

I've never had such a dirty hotel in my life. The floor looked dirty and littered with dead small animals because it hadn't been mopped for months. There were cobwebs in every corner of the wall. Breakfast is only available for an hour, which I didn't even try because I was so disgusted by the room. The staff wasn't exactly friendly either and took their moods out on the guests. I paid €83 for the night, way too overpriced for this room!! Would really advise anyone not to book this so-called hotel!!!!!

Stay away from this hotel! I had booked via HRS 2 weeks previously and wrote a message to the hotel on the platform stating that I would not be arriving until 10 p.m. and how we would hand over the keys, as I had seen that the reception was only open until 8 p.m.When nothing came from the hotel, I contacted them on the day of arrival and asked what we were going to do next. Answer on the phone: "We can't do anything, the reception is no longer manned." I then asked if the key could be left somewhere, and the answer was that it wasn't possible, anyone could get in there. So they can't do anything, if I don't arrive until around 10 p.m., the room won't work out, I'll have to look for something else, motto "You could have guessed that" and "Please understand me too" - huh?!The lady then made a fuss when I asked if she couldn't have told me that two weeks ago, when I specifically asked what we would do with the late arrival. Her answer: "Yes, I read that you wanted to come so late, so I thought back then that that wasn't possible." Well then, well thought out, I have to say.She repeatedly said that I had to understand her too, that it was late, that staff was expensive, and someone recently said that he was coming late, but then he didn't come, that's why she doesn't do things like that anymore, etc. Here it would certainly be necessary for the lady to reorient her own professional direction. I am sure that there are jobs that could make her happier than managing a hotel where strange guests constantly come and not only book, but actually stay there want to stay overnight.

This hotel is very old. When we arrived there was a nice hello. That's it. |The room under the attic was very narrow,|very spartan with only the bare essentials. The first impression: bare. …

Nice little hotel, rooms are clean, but the furnishings and the bathroom are very worn out. Breakfast is sufficient but nothing special. I had booked 3 double rooms, unfortunately 1 couple had to move to a holiday apartment in the house opposite, which was very worn out and dirty. When we left, the boss wanted 110 euros per night and double room instead of the booked 98 euros. After extensive discussion, we then paid the original price. Even with the increased prices, €110 per night including breakfast is not justified for the hotel.

Price and performance differ considerably. Room prices like in a wellness hotel, but you get average pension standards. For €98/night I expected more than "room is OK", I expected a decent shower that was fine and easy to move around in, and at least decent breakfast sandwiches. If you consider that there are also the parking fees, which should be included in the price-performance ratio, you cannot recommend the accommodation. The only things worth praising are the free minibar and the proximity to the center.
