We had a wonderful evening in the bay window booth of the house restaurant with very good and courteous service from both owners. The dishes, starting with the starter and ending with the desserts, were excellent!The same was true with the aperitif and the wine accompaniment to the meal!The special charm of the house is due in particular to the Belle Epoque elements! Very nice!

We were on the way to our vacation in Norway when our car broke down late in the evening. After the initial shock was over, we called this hotel and were given two beautiful rooms at short notice. And even with a dog. The hotel has an incomparable charm and is well maintained. We enjoyed spending time in the fireplace room full of books or in the magnificent garden. The service was wonderful. We were always treated with kindness and goodwill, while our every need was well taken care of.This hotel is highly recommended in every respect. It has a wonderful location, is run by great people and has incomparable charm.PS: the breakfast is excellent.

Gladly again :-) We were there with a small group of friends on Friday evening. We had schnitzel, steak, ox cheeks and medallions - everything was very tasty and lovingly prepared. Beforehand there was a small greeting from the kitchen (see picture) - you can't get that anymore in many places today. The lady at the bar was friendly, quick and had a smile on her face as she worked. Afterwards we tried several whiskeys - the owner made the evening a highlight for us - we noticed how passionate he was about his job, how strongly he is connected to the hotel and restaurant and how much passion he has for it Whiskey bar runs and continues to expand. He took a lot of time to tell us about the history of the hotel and the development of the whiskey bar - really very authentic.There are parking spaces on site, directly on the street or at the train station, which can be reached within a minute. We took the train - there are good connections to Magdeburg and Wolfsburg. We also got a short tour of the hotel - the rooms are decorated in a theme (wine, whiskey), spacious, bright and inviting. We can't say anything about the beds since we went home.We'll definitely be back - it was a very nice evening - thank you very much for that :-)

I booked 4 nights in this lovely family run hotel. The decisive factors for choosing this house were the very good location, the very good rating and the gastronomic offer.As soon as I arrived I was given a really warm welcome.The room (double room) was a nice size, comfortable and clean. The bathroom had everything you needed and was big enough.The location is really very central. It only takes a few minutes to get to the train station and the city center.The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.The restaurant offers a relatively small menu. There is something for every taste and it is really tasty.In addition, the prices in the restaurant are very affordable for this quality and the portions are absolutely sufficient.I would like to thank the entire team again for the unforgettable “siblings evening”.Guest care is very important in this house, you can honestly feel the passion for this profession.Keep it up.

Had booked a table for the Christmas party. It was so beautifully decorated that you immediately felt comfortable. The waitresses were also on their toes. The food was incredibly tasty, most people ordered black halibut. Highly recommended, especially nice and hot. We had 2 vegetarians with us who then ate salad, so I might wish there was a vegetarian warm dish on the menu. Salad was great. All in all a very nice and successful evening. Will definitely plan the next Christmas party there again. Thanks to Mr. Behrens for the small gifts when saying goodbye. Super great idea.

On the first weekend of Advent I celebrated my 60th birthday in the hotel with many lovely guests. The preparation for this went without any complications with the hotel owners. A little tip: reserve your room and restaurant as early as possible. The buffet ideas were implemented very well. We were served very friendly. Every guest could feel at home. We all had a good time.Our next big celebration will definitely take place again with Roman and Daniel in Haldensleben.Many thanks to the hotel team
