I stayed here on my motorbike for one night. It's ok for that.My room was on the ground floor and was quite old and worn. However, the bathroom was renovated and the bed wasn't as bad as expected and I slept well. The food is also ok and appropriate for the price. It was sufficient for my purposes and I would come back.

Hotel is very old. The rooms are in total need of renovation. You only step onto the floor with great reluctance. Totally dirty and stained. The restaurant and sauna are ok. Something has already been done here. Food is simple but ok. The location is right on the edge of town, but a bit difficult to find. The location is ideal for hikes.

It was advertised as having a swimming pool, but it didn't exist. The sauna was ok and so was breakfast and dinner. But the rooms were very cold and the staff weren't exactly friendly. I wouldn't go on vacation again 😏

Ancient, you think Honecker is just around the corner. Staff with STASI sound. Run down, the rooms and the whole building. Far too expensive (parking space €6 per night). And best of all: escape routes are locked from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

There were 4 of us there on motorbikes and we really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and varied. Breakfast very tasty. Sauna was great. Tourist tax and energy surcharge was ok. There would be no parking fee for motorcycles. My friends also said they would definitely come back.

We booked for 2 adults and a child, the anticipation of the pool when we arrived on a hot day was quickly taken away from us. At the reception we were informed that this pool no longer existed since autumn 2023. When we asked why it had not yet been taken off the network, we unfortunately received no answer. The room was already quite old, an older double bed that always had 2 planks popping out of the slatted frame in the morning (no, it wasn't because of body weight😁), large stains on the carpet, and the garbage from vacationers in front of us wasn't disposed of , the curtains had several holes and dead insects were hanging in there too. The location itself was okay, the food (half board) was very sufficient and tasty, the staff was also very nice.

An ABSOLUTE impudence, the pictures shown here are at least 15 years old. The facility is very run down. The "swimming pool" had a green broth as "water" and moss grew on the edge of the pool. I don't even want to start with the cleanliness of the rooms, moldy joints in the bathroom and broken furniture and beds, hard, uncomfortable and dirty beds. Broken slatted frame, back pain is inevitable. The carpet throughout the house is stained and damp and there is a musty smell everywhere. The food was ok but nothing more.CONCLUSION: This ruin will soon fall apart and not a cent will be invested. If you want to have a good, inexpensive vacation in the Harz, go somewhere else. This "hotel" is an absolute disaster.

There is no room service, you have to ask for itWhy is the only route a disaster?Nothing for the elderly and nothing for the disabled. Why are about 12-15 out of 20 chairs broken, rusted and repairable with screws? There is no swimming pool! Available, pictures WRONG!Breakfast and dinner is very good.
