Room okay for one night and above all clean.The breakfast was okay and the beer from the fridge at reception at night was cokay.All I can say about the location is that there would definitely be nicer locations.One more note: The right elevator creaks loudly when braking.

The 90s called and want their room back. Breakfast is good 👍 whether 94 euros per night is justified remains to be seen. People have to be paid fairly, that's just how it is.

The rooms were clean but very old. There were no sockets or USB for charging by the bed. Staff is nice. Breakfast is great. Unfortunately the bar was closed, which was a shame. Otherwise I think the hotel is ok.

Our short stay was great. The 3 of us had rooms, everything was ok in 2 rooms. In a room there were breadcrumbs on the table and hair on the bed, otherwise clean. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great, except for the rolls (small and hard), which could be improved at a breakfast price of €17. Staff very friendly and helpful. The parking space in the underground car park is also great for €10 per night. The hotel is conveniently located at the bus station, where you can quickly get to Oberhausen etc.

Unfortunately the hotel has stopped in time. Unfortunately the rooms are a bit shabby. The hotel shows its age, especially in the bathroom. In my opinion a renovation is urgently needed. Hallways and elevators could use better maintenance. Breakfast was quite OK. Hopefully something will be done about it

The very last thing, totally stained, ancient carpet, toilet lid not really tight and smaller than the bowl. Tiles broken and burn marks on the sink. Shower curtain iiiiii, staff nice! Never again!

Everything is super good. The rooms are cleaned daily. The room staff were better able to learn more German. The service area in the dining room also ensures that everything at the buffet is clean. The service in the entrance area was extremely friendly and helpful. Thumbs up. And everything is nice and clean.

Nice and modern lobby. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, but a culture shock compared to the lobby. There were decades in between, but it was satisfactory. Underground parking with slightly lowered cars is not recommended (30mm lower than standard) but this is not possible because it is due to age.Unfortunately they don't offer dinner, which I found very unfortunate.

The hotel probably had its best time in earlier years.The first impression when entering the room was a carpet with a very timeless design (horrifying to disgusting).Unfortunately there was no safe or refrigerator in the room. But there is an iron and ironing board.There were, at least in our room, no power sockets on the bed, which probably had to support a few larger guests.The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub on which there is a not very colorful plastic curtain. The bathroom ceiling has chipped paint on it.The sink is characterized by cracks, which are probably transitions into another time.The heater in the bathroom deserves laughing points, an electric fan heater (Clatronic brand) that was attached to the drain pipe with cable ties.The air conditioning in the room loudly informed us that it was trying to do its job. The system's controller looked...how should I put it...a little older. But she did her job.The safety chain on the room door can be pushed out without resistance.The entrance area of the hotel looked very pleasant. What should be highlighted is the refrigerator, from which you can purchase drinks for a considerable amount. (Quick note, Kaufland is next door. Think about it).On the weekend we were visiting, Taylor Swift had her performance in Gelsenkirchen, it was very warm, off to the bar.....no bar....bar not occupied.Lots of hotel guests and the bar is closed?Did I mention that Kaufland is next door? Sales really took off. You can also make non-alcoholic cocktails if that's all you need.So, got some cool drinks from the aforementioned discount store, sat on the outside terrace and listened to the Bottrop posers. Left the next day.

For a 3 star hotel, it was really nice and clean, at least as far as our room was concerned.The breakfast was good and, above all, fresh with enough choice.The staff was nice and helpful.What is annoying, however, is the noise you hear if your room faces the main street.Furthermore, there are no reasonable parking options because, in my opinion, the underground car park entrance is too narrow and confusing, behind the hotel the cars get pretty dirty due to trees and everything there is also very tight, so parked outside about 5-8 minutes on foot.The carpets in the rooms should either be replaced or cleaned thoroughly.

The rooms are underground, the carpet was so old and rancid that you didn't want to take your socks off.I was very disappointed, I expect more from a 4 star hotel. Never this hotel again! I can only advise against it.
