Well, first of all, there are far too few parking spaces at the hotel, which means that you are sent to the parking garage next door. However, this costs a whopping 13 euros per night, which means that the overnight stay does not cost X amount, but 13 euros more than stated.Rooms are great. There was no service for any of us, or only in the form of a parking notice, because supposedly it wasn't allowed how we parked, even though we weren't hindering anyone.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my stay, especially because of the customer service at the front desk. The employees there seemed unfriendly and didn't seem very motivated. I had the impression that inquiries and concerns were perceived as more of a burden. This affected my overall experience and the atmosphere of the hotel. It would be nice if more attention was paid to hospitality and service orientation in order to increase the guests' feeling of well-being.

One of the few nice places in Duisburg. The lack of a kettle or cups in the room was fully compensated. Neat, safe, colorful - in the case of this city, standardization is beneficial.

Unfortunately we didn't go to the Hotel Campanile in Duisburg City. Would have liked to have done it. But we had a different goal. We wanted to go to the Duisburg harbor and then to the Kuppersmühle Museum. It was a beautiful day, with the ship on the Rhine, on to the outer harbor and after two hours back to the inner harbor. It was an unusual experience in the sunshine. Here we realized that it is not for nothing that the journey in the harbor is proud and is considered the largest inland port in the world. The cultural highlight was the Küppersmühle Museum at the inner harbor. We had already visited the museum five years ago, but were amazed that the renovation created a completely new picture. We discovered many modern pictures on three floors, sometimes by the artist Gerhard Richter, sometimes by Anselm Kiefer, sometimes by Markus Lüpertz, and many more.

Very modern hotel, the location is great. It's a very quick walk to the train station and the city center. The view on the water side is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the shower curtain was already slightly stained and the service at reception at night wasn't that good. Checking in and out goes smoothly. The breakfast was very good, there was a large selection of cold cuts, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon. There was also yogurt and fruit for breakfast. Very happy again.
