Too far out, shared rooms far too small, not even a place to sit or a table? Unfortunately, some of the employees are miles away from friendliness and helpfulness. Apparently the guest is not “king” everywhere. Please retrain!!! Otherwise everything is spacious and clean. Unfortunately for me it was one of the very few negative experiences with the houses of the Meininger Group. Meininger Bremen, Hamburg, Dresden, except for Centralstation, all the others in Berlin are top 👌. My suggestion for Cologne. Leave it with the shared rooms or put 2 bunk beds instead of 1 bunk bed and a double bed. Folding table on the wall and at least a small stool. The rooms are too small for your current solution!

Clean rooms, nice staff and good breakfast. It's in an excellent location for a visit to the stadium. You can take the S-Bahn at the end of the street into the city center and you can also get to the cathedral in about 20 minutes.

Check in without any problems, beautiful 4-person room with large bathroom and shower.The lobby is friendly and lively and invites you to relax and unwind.Breakfast was plentiful and everything was available and reasonable for the price. All in all, fair performance at a good price.

Far from the center, but room rate is very good. Beds fine. The furnishings are modern, simple but practical. Beautiful building and building plan. Bathroom neat. Don't look under the beds because the vacuum cleaner apparently doesn't reach that far, a lot of mess!The woke flags and posters could be thrown in the trash! Stop shoving your ideology down people's throats.

Stuff was slow, had poor English, flexibility and compasion skills. I explained that I arrived very early and need early check-in. In advance, I reached out on booking and by email regarding this but no one responded. Upon my arrival, I explained that I spent 30 hours on the bus and I don't need even a bed, but I need a shower. Zero help, they just replied like robots that it's not available and didn't even look into my eyes just said "hope it helps". They just wanted to be left alone because it's morning, not to help. Also, it's mentioned that there is an option to leave bags, but they have no clue how to use it, you just need to upload application and figure out everything by yourself. I came back later to check-in, but their system was frozen. I expected here more proffesional reaction, not to leave me to wait for half a day after I told how exhausted I am and that I have things to do in the city. Disapointment. It doesn't matter how nice the place looks if stuff is so careless

My stay at the Meininger Hotel Köln West was disappointing, especially considering past positive experiences in hostels. When I arrived at 1 a.m. to my 4-bed female dorm, I was shocked to find two twin beds pushed together to form a double, with one bed already occupied. This setup essentially meant sharing a bed with a stranger, which was uncomfortable and inappropriate in a shared dorm. Beds should always be arranged separately to respect privacy.The hotel is located in an isolated business park with minimal foot traffic at night, which can feel unsettling for a solo female traveler. For anyone staying here, I’d recommend taking the 1 train over the S-train for a more comfortable walk back, especially after dark.There were a few other issues as well: the key card is required to activate the room’s light switch, which is inconvenient, especially when you’re coming in late or have to leave the room. My key card even stopped working at one point, which added to the frustration.Overall, while the budget-friendly rate is a plus, I wouldn’t stay here again unless they make some improvements to the room setup, security, and convenience for solo travelers.

The room was dusty and not cleaned once during our stay.The twin beds made it very unconfortable, but there's no option for a double bed...To szore your luggage at the hotel they charge extra fee - 6€ per suitcase - which does not seem much, but they are already overpriced and other (even cheaper) facilities tale care of it for free :))If you have no better option it'll suffice, but you're better off staying away from this franchise!

Everything ok, good atmosphere, not more expensive than a 2-bed room in a youth hostel.Lobby looks cozy, bright and friendly. But as an older and, above all, tall person, you sit on back-unfriendly seating that is designed in such a way that you want to leave quickly.

It’s not centrally located, but a bit far away. However, that’s what makes it not so noisy. It is easily accessible to the nearest tram station. And it’s one line to get to central Köln.

Double room, for a family, there were three of us, unwashed floor, there were drops of I don't know what everywhere, bathroom with hair from the previous tenant, the structure of the bunk bed was completely full of greasy handfuls, from I don't know who... .. And finally found an already dirty towel. Definitely won't go back, thanks

-Good room service.-Friendly reception-No kettle in the room-No tables in the room-No chairs in the room-Small beds-There are lockers for valuables, but you have to buy a lock from a machine for 7 euros. Or get one outside. Should be included in the price.

Advantage 1. Not carpeted. 2. Parking available in coordination with Qpark at an affordable price (15€). 3. The room rate is reasonable. 4. There are complete facilities such as washing machine (pay 4€ for washing and 4€ for dry using the We Wash app), shared kitchen and refrigerator. 5. There is shower soap. The disadvantage is that the water pressure on the 3rd floor is just okay (not very strong) and the bathroom does not have a dry and wet partition (uses a curtain).
