Unfortunately not recommended, the double room we booked was in a dilapidated condition, the bathroom and shower were unreasonable...old-fashioned, not really clean and far too expensive. The breakfast was also nothing special, the grain rolls were inedible, scrambled eggs come from a tetra pack when asked.The whole hotel area smells musty and is not at all inviting.Overall a big disappointment.

The Bergmann house has officially been modernized since it was handed over to his son, but unfortunately this is not necessarily noticeable.We were able to see two rooms and had to pay the same price for them. In no way justified.One room was completely desolate: broken and completely worn out cupboard, old bed with a 10cm gap between the mattresses. Just enough space to walk around the bed. Dusty and everything is kind of old. It was marked as a double room. Absolutely not.The room was basically a disgrace.Second room was closer to that. Unfortunately the shower cubicle and the lamp in the bathroom were broken.We then reported that. However, I wonder why this wasn't noticed when I was cleaning or preparing; the room has no natural light.The price here was also €119.Unfortunately, the TV in the room could not be used without a password; Well, you don't necessarily need it. But if it's there, you want to be able to use it.There is no kettle or small refrigerator in any room.Breakfast was... there.A lady prepared fresh scrambled eggs; super tasty. She was very nice.Otherwise there was cold meat, cold bacon and cold eggs.Reception was staffed sporadically and sometimes the hotel had to be called.Overall, you can expect significantly more for the price. Or the price should be lower. That would also be appropriate considering the general condition.3 employees, including the breakfast lady, were very nice and helpful. One gentleman, perhaps the boss, was very 'unwieldy'.No 'next time' for us and Haus Bergmann.

We had a double room for the duration of our stayclean and functionally furnished.It is a house with history and you can feel this charm everywhere in the house! Friendliness, service and helpfulness are lived here!If you want, you can get a few useful tips about the surrounding area! It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the center - it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to Gütersloh by car! We felt comfortable here and can recommend Haus Bergmann!

We had a family celebration at Haus Bergmann at the weekend. We liked it very much. The food was well seasoned and very nicely presented. The service worked very well and was also very, very attentive. We felt comfortable and would love to come back to eat again in the future.
