We are there for bowling.Therefore I cannot judge the rooms.The staff is attentive and friendly.The rooms are partly newly renovated and very nice.The bowling alley is separate from the main building. This benefits the hall.We order with 12 people.That's quite a challenge for the kitchen.She can take her time to get everything perfect.There was often a lack of food that was delivered.The food is variable in quality.The portions also vary greatly in size.Sometimes you can hardly finish the salad with chicken strips.Sometimes you don't feel full, as if there was no salad in the kitchen.The burger was missing salad the last two times.Basically the food is delicious, there's just always something missing.This could be avoided with a little more care in the kitchen.Hence four stars.

It was a wonderful time. The rooms are very nice and the food is phenomenal. This was definitely the best burger I had eaten in my life.But what stands out most are the extremely friendly people. Everyone is extremely accommodating and nice.My wife and I can highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

Such a beautiful place. We had a large, comfortable family room. The breakfast was very varied and really nicely prepared. The staff is super helpful and accommodating. We have felt very comfortable here.

We had lunch on Sunday. The Christmas special was super delicious! Dumplings, roulade and red cabbage were homemade and tasted delicious - just like mom's!!The soup beforehand was also extremely well seasoned.Baked potatoes, steak and children's burgers were also very popular.The ambience was very nice. New accents were set in the old bark. You can see the effort in the service and the operators to give the guest a good time.It's nice that someone with so much passion has the courage to run a hotel and restaurant in a rural area!An enrichment for Lippe!We'd love to come back!

Impressive atmosphere in a special ambience. The service is great and the staff is super friendly and top notch. The food tasted good, so we went back the next day. Had the Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad and a delicious "Shirley Temple" (soft drink). The crowning achievement was a super delicious chocolate cake that really impressed me. Conclusion: pleasant atmosphere, good food and great service. I can only recommend it!!

Had dinner at the Resting Place yesterday and again today. The food is very tasty and the portions are also very filling. The staff is very accommodating and super nice. The ambience is also beautiful and you immediately feel at home. I would come back at any time.

Well, what can I say?Expectations were not high and were not exceeded.Yes, the service is really very good. So many friendly, nice ladies, but unfortunately they couldn't hide the quality and price-performance ratio.Jägerschnitzel with fries was good snack bar standard and I don't pay almost €18 for that. Hamburger with fries and side salad €20! Currywurst 14.50€ etc Hello, it's still possible. The name The Resting Place suggests something different, but there is Krombacher beer and not good whiskey.Don't be angry, but take some notice of it. Ask yourself what would motivate someone from Bad Salzuflen or Lemgo to visit you a second time? This menu and the ambience are not like that. We'll come back if anything changes! I can only warmly recommend the Tagliatelle Bolognese, but unfortunately I have to say that with the schnitzel I personally missed the salad and a little less fries, but that's a matter of opinion. The service is very friendly and accommodating.
