It was horrible. Mold everywhere, clogged sink, breakfast (also moldy food) bad.We were there with two severely disabled people - the staff knew that. When we arrived they told us the elevator was broken. Rooms were on the second floor, for two blind and walking-impaired people. In addition: the promised restaurant was also a 20-minute walk away. The calendar came towards us as we went up, 'repaired' with duct tape. Steps everywhere, including in the hallway - unlit or marked. The wallpaper was coming off the walls.So. It was wonderful. Gladly never again.

Comfortable beds, good location. But breakfast times from 8 to 10 are a no go. You end up here as if you were staying with an Iraqi family and you feel like an unwanted guest.

The hotel is easy to reach from the train station. The rooms are equipped with the most necessary. Unfortunately I had quite a tripping hazard getting to the bathroom. The environment is quite noisy, making it difficult to sleep with the window open if you are a light sleeper. The view of the window ends after about 5 meters and you look into the neighboring house.Unfortunately the shower wasn't clean. Joints are crumbling, as are limescale deposits. Shower hose leaking. The breakfast is ok.Conclusion. Still suitable for a short stay (1 night). Longer stay, no thanks.

Stay from 08/21 to 08/26/2024I do not recommend this hotel! This is why:Certainly, the welcome was friendly and smiling!Of course, it is a two-star hotel, so I was not expecting high standards but at least worth the price paid.I am really disappointed!!!5 nights booked (1 for me then the other 4 for my brother who walks with difficulty because he has a hip disability). The assigned room was on the top floor:1/ Broken elevator (reminder: room on the top floor) with promise to be repaired the next day (I think this answer must be constantly given to customers every day). Nothing was done during the stay (Wednesday to Monday),2/ the 3rd morning (Sunday), the cold water does not work, my brother explains to me that he is soaped in the shower and that when it comes time to rinse, no more water, total dryness. He goes down to reception soaped up in his pajamas (remember, he has a hip disability) and doesn't get a concrete answer - the manager isn't there.Thank you to the customer couple present in the lobby who kindly offered my brother the use of their room and bathroom to get ready. Also the lamp above the bathroom sink did not work, nor did the electrical outlet on the side, one of the headboard outlets not work. When you have to charge electronic devices, it's uncomfortable! However, the nights were paid in full without any discount for this neglected maintenance. This is not normal!!!3/ If the hotel and the rooms are generally clean and the staff are friendly (rather passive because they do not make decisions), the establishment is neglected in its maintenance. Conclusion :I do not recommend this hotel. It has potential but is not attractive.

The hotel is very run down and is located right on a busy street in a not very nice area in Bielefeld. The reception area appears to be new. The hallways are uninviting with broken picture frames. The room was a pleasant size, although the lights came down from the ceiling, there was access to the roof (unnecessary) and unfortunately there were no blackout curtains. There was carpet throughout the room. The bathroom was tiny and the entry into the shower was very high. The room wasn't really clean, there was no mattress protector for the old sagging mattress.Breakfast consisted of wheat rolls, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, a few sliced sausages from the pack, a bit of cutlet and otherwise jam, cream cheese or honey from small pre-packaged plastic pots. There was also a selection of cereal and juice, and the coffee was in a thermos. There are better accommodation options in Bielefeld at the same prices.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully designed, but you shouldn't have high expectations when it comes to the inventory, as the paint is literally off. Much of the facility urgently needs to be repaired or it would even be better if it were completely renovated.I actually think it's a shame that the owner doesn't seem to attach enough importance to this, because otherwise it could be a really nice hotel... 🤔
