Modernized hotel, great breakfast with "grandma charm" dishes. I was able to use the wellness area in the Lippischen Hof. About 7 minutes walk there. But I didn't think it was that great there. Very small pool.My room in the building next door was large, as was the bed. Very comfortable bed. Quietly located. Everything fine. The price was also pleasant. I had booked a short stay for 2 nights.

Some rooms are strange. I had a double room with a transparent glass door to the bathroom and therefore a clear view of the toilet from the bed. Otherwise quite clean, although quite noisy due to the traffic on the nearby street. There are not enough parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Many thanks to the Eichenhof in Bad Salzuflen. I felt very comfortable and also had the impression that it wasn't me but a point. The rooms are good, the ambience is good so far. The staff very friendly and helpful. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend

Never been in such a lousy accommodation. I personally sent the following message to the managing directors on the day of my departure, and after exactly a week I still haven't received an answer.From August 23rd to 25th, 2024 I stayed at the Hotel Eichenhof in Bad Salzuflen. I booked through Booking, and I made a very conscious decision to choose a small, family-like accommodation in a beautiful old villa, Villa Otto. When I arrived at 3 p.m., I found myself standing in front of the locked door at Villa Otto and went to the Eichenhof reception. Below I'll just briefly describe how my stay went:- Without explanation, comment or even apology I was given room 214 in the Eichenhof, not in the Villa Otto as booked.- Check-in took a total of 50 minutes, the computer didn't seem to be working.- The room hadn't been cleaned at all shortly before 4 p.m., the man at the reception told me to just wait.- After 6 p.m. I came into the room, the floor was not clean, there were broken pieces of glass on the floor in front of the bed, which I hastily picked up and disposed of myself.- August 24th, 2024: I used the door sign to ask for the room to be cleaned because of the broken glass, there was no one present at the reception.- After 7 p.m. the door sign was placed on the room table, only the two trash cans were emptied, nothing had been cleaned, the broken glass was still lying around, not even the bed was made.- August 25, 2024: In the morning I rang the bell and waited at reception for 15 minutes, again no one was there. I left the hotel at 7:45 without ever seeing anyone at reception again, except for the afternoon of my arrival.It is well known that the cleaning staff in hotels often only have a few minutes available per room, and something can always go wrong. But I've never felt really unwelcome and been ignored at all. I am really extremely disappointed and shocked by so much unprofessionalism and lack of interest.Here you are just a paying customer, but certainly not a welcome guest.

The hotel is getting old. Our room wasn't clean, so we had to move again in the hotel. At breakfast the waitress was completely overwhelmed and the buffet was not refilled in a timely manner. Parking in front of the hotel is a matter of luck.

We are given the opportunity to stay at this hotel by our employer...clean rooms...always friendly...time for short conversations...always get a parking space...the breakfast room...I think it's filled with a lot of love...I drink I would love my coffee from these collector's cups...thanks :-)

A very nice antique hotel. Attentive staff, clean and the room size is good. I've never slept so well in a hotel, the bed is wonderful. (briefly thought about how to get the mattress into the car 😉) The breakfast offers everything you need, with attention to detail. I can highly recommend this hotel

Parking is a disaster, rooms and bathrooms are inadequate, reception is rarely staffed, the only bright spot is the lady who organizes breakfast, who is great.

I would have expected more for a 3 star hotel. For the price per night, which is, in my opinion, too high, there is also a paid breakfast and the “free WiFi” which you have to pay for at the reception. If, in return, the toilet was clean and there was enough space in the bathroom, that would be one thing. But 2 sqm bathroom is a bad joke. If you want to get up from the toilet, you bump into the sink, which is way too big. There is also no mini-bar. The lighting in the room is very rustic and is reminiscent of the lighting technology of a VW Beetle. You can lock the door to the room, but it wobbles with every draft. I don't know which hotel here has the 3 stars at the main entrance but it's definitely not this one.

I was very satisfied with my stay there. A very friendly service at the reception gave me his free parking space when I asked where I could leave my car since I was in a parking space limited to 2 hours. My room was large, cozy, clean and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also clean and quite large. There was nothing to miss at the breakfast buffet.

Very small room. No storage space in the bathroom. Shower soap dish hangs askew on a single screw. Shower rail unstable, wobbly. Shower walls difficult to handle. Bathroom is flooded with water after showering.There is only one stool in the room for seating.Cigarette smoke wafts through the house.We will definitely not visit this hotel again.
