The hotel is located in a natural area around the Silbersee in Frielendorf.Here you feel welcome and warmly welcomed right from the start.The children are very comfortable in the family-like hotel!The food is excellent.Many thanks to the whole team around the hotel!

Great location, recommended with children.Breakfast a bit poor, service too little.There are no price lists for drinks, at least they are nowhere.You could earn a lot more if you promoted the service at the bar, but that's probably not the intention either.We would come back just because of the location and would recommend it. The criticisms are purely suggestions for improvement.

The food from the evening buffet was averagely bad, the turkey in the second course was very dry, the tomatoes had a stalk on them, the mashed potatoes were made without love (probably finished powder).The salad with tortellini was tasteless.YumYum pasta salad was completely okay although you can hardly go wrong there..The friendliness of the people working there was positive, but unfortunately nothing more.

If you don't have any demands and are just happy to find an affordable place to stay with small children, you can probably stick it out for a few days. In my opinion, the hotel is overrated with three stars, as everything here is a bit shabby. The food was okay, but there wasn't much choice. A working heater in winter would have been nice.

Not new and modern but rather older but well maintained. Certainly recommended for families with children in times without a pandemic... Unfortunately difficult at the moment...

Very old and worn out. Photos of the hotel are outdated. No lawn on the terrace but gravel and parking spaces. No restaurant for lunch or anything like that. Otherwise family friendly and quiet.

We stayed in a newly renovated holiday home with 4 adults and 2 children. The house was super clean and very nice. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing you can say. Even the arrival was very unfriendly. The gentleman who works at the reception definitely doesn't have any friendliness or hospitality. We had booked half board plus. The food was definitely BAD. Beans frozen, turkey not cooked through, Jägerschnitzel floating soggy in sauce. You have time to eat from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., but you have to wait in line for at least 20 minutes because the buffet area is only a maximum of 2 meters long and you have to keep your distance because of Corona. If you've waited in line and your stomach is growling, you have to expect that you'll have to wait another 10 minutes because a lot of things are already gone and need to be refilled. Now you can calculate how long you have left to eat with small children. The only positive thing was the young, nice waitress. She was really accommodating and tried to save the mess. So if you like eating half-warmed from a can, you're in paradise. But I would like to say that we didn't eat at the Silbersee Alm. The food there is said to be really good. So be careful where you book.If you're hoping for delicious cake, you're not in the right place because the home-baked cake is not for half-board plus customers 😉

The room was okay, there were little things in the bathroom that could be renovated. The food was great, there was a large selection at the buffet in the morning and evening. The negative thing that needs to be changed is that WiFi costs 3 euros per day and it hardly worked or didn't work at all. The price was too high for 3 days and 9 € paid which is too much.
