Heavy traffic until 10 p.m., very loud...Rooms clean and good, nothing special, balcony is unfortunately just a "smoking corner" and in need of renovation, service very good, nice and accommodating, breakfast good and plentiful, coffee taste could be improved. Value for money is good...

A family-run and designed small hotel with flair. The owners are very open to requests and try to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are normally equipped and very clean, as are the sanitary facilities. A varied breakfast is offered with eggs of your choice and various extras. From melon to ham and various jams, from croissants to wholemeal bread and various rolls to tea or coffee, much more is represented and tastefully offered.There is no dinner as a garni. The numerous restaurants in Bad Wildungen offer a very extensive range of restaurants. In the afternoon, be sure to have coffee and cake in the passable old town in Bad Wildungen. A delight presented by a very committed, lovely Ukrainian family!All highly recommended!!

A very nice and friendly boss. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very rich and good. Ms. Holzhauer is the good soul of the hotel. All in all, highly recommended.

We had a lovely weekend and our stay at the Hotel Holzhauer was simply perfect.A very nice hostess, rooms sparkling clean with attentive little things in the bathroom. The breakfast is great, homemade delicious jam, freshly prepared egg dishes as desired, bread, rolls, muesli, juices, fruit salad, delicious coffee... everything you need is there.Upstairs in the hallway there is a coffee and tea bar available all day, really great.Price/performance is unbeatable at this hotel and we can recommend it without reservation.We'd love to come back.

A very nice small owner-run hotel. We received a very friendly welcome from the owner. She personally took us to our room and briefly explained everything. (WiFi & TV)Overall, we are very satisfied and felt very comfortable! We would be happy to come back the next time we visit Bad Wildungen.

If you are sensitive to noise, I can only advise against it. Clairvoyant and a very strangely acting hotel landlady. When we asked if we could change rooms because of the neighbors (who were talking quite loudly) and the noisy street, she offered to move out. If it is too loud at night, you should knock yourself. Towards the evening the landlady kindly explained to the roommates thatthat a difficult lady would have already complained. Even though it is still so early. Some people are really difficult. (Didn't understand what it was about...) It's stupid that I had to listen to the gossip from the other guests. Even when asked about it, she reacted in an unconfident, blaming and flippant way. So: room ok, breakfast good, landlady unprofessional and not for noise-sensitive guests.

Very courteous and attentive hosts, very clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast buffet, parking right next to the house, quiet, somewhat hidden location close to the old town. In 20 minutes, although a little uphill, you are in the old town.

Family-run small hotel with functional and comfortably furnished rooms. I was irritated by the lack of a smoke detector...the hosts were nice and accommodating. For breakfast there was, in addition to the usual, fresh scrambled eggs, yoghurt and homemade jam - very tasty!

Friendly and very hard-working hosts. Egg dishes are freshly prepared according to your selection. The room with a large terrace, new bathroom and, although facing the main street, very quiet. A 24/7 service corner (hot water/tea/coffee) deserves special mention 👍👍

My husband turned 50 and as a surprise there were 3 days in Bad Wildungen. I found the hotel online in May.We stayed in room 5.This was a nice size. Small clean bathroom with shower. A small anteroom with a TV and a sofa.Nice double bed and even a balcony. It's nice that there are roller blinds. I think the location is good, not in the middle of the city, but you can quickly reach the old town.The breakfast is very loving. Everything your heart desires is there. Coffee, tea, juices, a vital corner, bread, rolls, spreads, cold cuts and it's really great that you are asked whether you want eggs, fried eggs or scrambled eggs.Price performance is almost unbeatable. We had a nice break here
