It's a nice hotel. Good use of space. The hotel rooms were not very clean everywhere. There is a nice pool, and the breakfast is very good.

We spent a long weekend here.The location of the hotel is good, but you need a car to get to Willingen for family activities.Our son really liked the pool.Everything was available for a sauna, but the relaxation area was very carelessly designed. Both looked as if they had been renovated in recent years.The rest of the hotel furnishings appear to be of older construction.The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The general hotel area was a bit dingy though. Cleaning windows and removing cobwebs would go a long way in making a first impression.The consistently very friendly staff should be mentioned very positively.Breakfast and dinner were good. If something was missing from the buffet, it was quickly refilled until the end of the meal.The price/performance ratio was good for us and we had a few nice days in Willingen.

Overall we are quite satisfied. The room was large, the beds were comfortable and everything seemed clean except for the balcony. The little gifts for our kids were lovely. The pool was pleasantly warm and also clean. There is a playroom for children, but its best days are already behind it. The breakfast buffet is not particularly varied for people who don't eat meat. We were missing more raw vegetables and croissants. You can get to Willingen-Kernstadt quickly by car.

Nice hotel in a nice location. Extremely friendly staff, breakfast and... The evening buffet leaves nothing to be desired. However, the cleanliness in the rooms leaves something to be desired, but it is also not possible to clean the room in less than 5 minutes. I was able to experience this several times myself! There is only enough for the bare essentials. The hotel is a bit old, but is still comfortable. Still, with a little effort it could be more appealing. Unfortunately, the hotel is not completely barrier-free; access to the room is difficult, even with a walker, which is, in my opinion, impossible for a wheelchair. I still enjoyed my vacation and will definitely come here again.

If you want the feeling of a youth hostel, this is the right place for you. This hotel has absolutely nothing to do with wellness and relaxation.The “restaurant” is very run down and the second room looks like a meeting room. Totally uncomfortable.There are screaming children everywhere, running around at your feet at the buffet

Came with a child.We were given a non-smoking room which smelled so much of cigarettes that it was not possible to stay there the first day.We didn't unpack our suitcases but rather lived out of them.At the reception we were turned away with a: "Well, we smoked something illegally again..".All rooms are taken. They wanted to see if there was anything they could do and send the building technician over with febreze.Room number was notedOf course nothing happened for the 4 days we were there!!Room itself old but okay.Food was great.The food staff was also great.

We were there with a group of 26 people. The rooms had slight signs of wear, the breakfast and dinner left nothing to be desired. A Syrian employee was responsible for the drinks and served us very friendly and very well.

Very idyllic and quiet hotel. Good starting point for hikes. The rooms are completely fine, the hotel is otherwise well equipped. The breakfast was rich and perfect. Overall I have nothing to complain about.

Rooms are CLEARLY getting old and the smell in our hallway was unpleasant. The service was nice and friendly, the food was good. The hotel is located just under 5km outside of Willingen, somewhat secluded.

The hotel is very old. The cleanliness in the rooms and elsewhere leaves a lot to be desired. Since the price has almost doubled compared to the previous travel vouchers, they are no longer offered.For us and our friends it was definitely the last visit to this hotel!!

Were recently a guest at this hotel and look forward to coming back.Very friendly staff who take enough time to answer all questions. The hotel is in a quiet location in a neighboring town of Willingen. Ideal as a starting point for hikes and bike tours.Rich and varied breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired.The evening buffet was also very tasty and fresh.The nice waiter in the evening had great interaction with the guests.There is a (quite cold) pool and a small sauna area for relaxation (included in the price).Only the rooms seemed a bit dated, but they were clean and spacious.
