Super nice hotel and friendly staff and it was good. Breakfast could have been a bit more extensive, we thought. Rooms were good, pity no air conditioning and no Dutch channels on TV for the Dutch.

We had a wonderful holiday in a great hotel. We had a great view of the mountains. Almost everything is right here. The service is really great. If you express a wish, we will try to implement it as quickly as possible. The wellness area is also great. The only point of criticism is that you have to pay for tap water at dinner. Absolutely recommend this hotel. Particularly worth mentioning is the games/book corner, which offers many options for young and old.

Very nice hotel. Super great location, quiet, a bit remote and you can get to different cities and mountains in no time (by car or bus). Pure relaxation, as there are meadows, cows, hiking trails, forest and the stream around the hotel.The food is a culinary dream every day, incredibly delicious and cooked with heart and passion. The wellness area is not that big, but it has everything you need. The cleanliness in the room/hotel was perfect. All employees were extremely/very friendly. My single room wasn't that big and was a bit out of fashion, but it had a very good mattress that wasn't saggy! I was there at Pentecost, no crowds.I would love to come back, just because of the kitchen/food 😉

We just drank some cocoa and ate some ice cream in the beer garden, it was very tasty. A beautiful place. You could stay there for hours and unwind. The prices on the menu were quite reasonable

Nice hotel, a bit old in places, but it was still a wonderful, very special stay. Since we stayed there for our wedding, some of our special requests were fulfilled in a very natural and friendly manner. A vegan menu for my daughter was also no problem (announced in advance). The wellness area is great and the food is very good. We can only recommend it!

I can only recommend it :) Also for vegans. There aren't many vegan dishes on the menu, but if you ask, the chef will conjure up a great vegan menu! It was very tasty 🌱🤩 and the waitresses were super nice.The rooms were nice and clean. You can really relax in the swimming pool and saunas.

Pretty much everything went right. Great dinner, great wellness department, great employees.2 things that bothered me personally. At a price of 140 euros per person per night, I expect rolls from the bakery in the morning and not baked rolls.I also expect a transfer from the train station to the hotel, which is relatively far away, and back, especially since we had to take a taxi quite stressfully.Otherwise we were very satisfied

We organized a family reunion at “Sonnenbichl”. The hotel was actually ideal for this and it wasn't boring for any age group. The children had fun in the modern indoor pool or the “big ones” had fun in the sensational sauna area. The half board with breakfast and dinner was very good, as were the well-kept, modern rooms. The lounge area also invited you to linger. Very small point of criticism: The staff were neatly dressed in traditional costume or dirndl, the owners themselves were unfortunately only dressed in “civilian” clothes, which meant that you couldn't distinguish them from the guests, at least at the beginning of the stay.

Hello, we stayed at the hotel as a couple from February 9th to 11th, 2024.The hotel is getting old. Very old and musty. The carpeting throughout the hotel and in the room needs to be replaced. The room was tiny and freezing cold. Likewise the floor tiles in the bathroom. (Room 48). In the wellness area there are 2 rustic saunas and an outdated cold indoor pool with no frills.The breakfast was quite monotonous and economical...Dinner (Bavarian buffet) was once again served sparingly. In addition, the napkin dumplings were very dry and the baked cauliflower was tasteless and hard.The wine is overpriced and half a liter of tap water costs 3 euros.This hotel has 4 stars. Cheers meal.

Celebrated Christmas, New Year's Eve and birthdays in this hotel. No celebration on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve champagne and a red rose for the partner around 6.30 p.m.Afterwards a 6-course menu, the intervals between the individual dishes were long, dessert at around 10.30 p.m. A solo entertainer also offered beautiful music for dancing.

Wonderfully located hotel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good. Very clean. Great wellness area with good treatments. Short distances to Sonthofen, Oberstdorf and the Austrian Kleinwalstertal. We would come there again.
