The hotel has a storage room for bicycles next door and is located on the island in the pedestrian zone. It is very quiet and at breakfast you will be surprised at how many people have spent the night here. The breakfast is great! Very good coffee, surprising selection of everything and a very nice atmosphere in the breakfast room. Compared to 6 years ago, significant improvement. Our room was marginal in that there was only 1 window which opened into a dark courtyard, with a steel escape staircase in front of us... The room was dark and uncomfortable. The bathroom is new, everything is clean and quiet. So great for one night as part of a bike tour.Date of stay: September 2022

A little mixed.On the one hand, the hotel is very well placed, that’s for sure. You are close to all amenities. The breakfast is very good and the room pleasant.On the other hand, wifi is non-existent. I asked the concierge for help to connect but she didn't want to know.The room was exposed to direct sunlight without air conditioning or ventilation in the middle of summer.Difficult.Furthermore, the toilets and the bathroom are separated from the bedroom. It's really not practical.The hotel is very old.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Lindau Island.Friendly welcome, nice room - a bit small, but that's okay for a short break!The breakfast buffet won't leave anyone hungry either.The location is wonderful, many restaurants, shops, cultural institutions are right next door.Gladly again!

The hotel is in an old (historic) house in the old town and is therefore not very modern. While the breakfast area is quite modern and bright (and the breakfast for €10 is a must), the stairwell and rooms are a bit old but good and clean. The bathroom's decor was probably from the previous one and unfortunately smelled bad. But the room was big and quiet and the location is perfect. Hence my recommendation for a short stay. Receptionist was also very nice and sent us in the right direction! Thank you ☺️

Lindau is absolutely charming and the hotel is centrally and well located. It's pretty and tasteful, with great pictures in the public spaces. Breakfast is excellent.

There are other photos on the internet than what we had.The tiles in the bathroom were loose, the bathroom furniture was broken, the doors were crooked.Room was not very clean, breakfast was not much special.Waste of your money.Place is very beautiful, I would like to go back someday, but to a different hotel.It is possible to walk a bit to the hotel.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very simple, without air conditioning or a fan but with enough ventilation they are definitely bearable. In our room, the bathroom was not included in the room, but in the hallway. The bathroom was private just for us. The WiFi worked great at all times!The location is also great. You can reach the train station, harbor and waterfront in 5 minutes. There is a REWE not far away. A small refrigerator to keep drinks cold would have been great. Overall really satisfied.

A hotel in the middle of the island of Lindau, which can be easily reached on foot or by bike.But please be careful, if you place your bike in the provided storage overnight, you will be charged a “service fee per night” when billing, without notice.This was the only hotel around Lake Constance where something like this was practiced!Breakfast is not automatically included, but can easily be booked upon arrival.The rooms are functionally furnished, with a colorful mix of gold, silver, plastic, colorful.The breakfast is clear and rather simple. There is a lack of labeling and the offer is clear.I do not recommend it for guests with food intolerances, as this... no offer is available.The staff is not open to comments and criticism and does not accept them.As long as everything goes well, you are a welcome guest.I'll look for another place to stay next time!

We stayed at the Hotel Medusa as a group of girls and were very satisfied. We were greeted very friendly at reception, the rooms we had were mostly on the 3rd floor and comfortable. One had a view of the wall of the house opposite, but since we were only in the hotel to sleep, this didn't bother us.The hotel rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.The breakfast looked tasty and sufficient, but we didn't take advantage of it because we already had other plans.The hotel is very nice and centrally located near a square with restaurants and cafes. It was only a short walk to swim in the lake.The existing lounge furniture in front of the hotel also invites you to linger when the weather is good and provided us with a cozy end to our evening/night.We can definitely recommend the hotel.

3 days overnight at Medusa Bed and Breakfast. The website describes it as a hotel but it is not a hotel.The building is very old and not maintained at all. Dirty and some parts are also damaged (gate and window). The breakfast offers nothing special, better at other places on the lake.View directly on the brick wall opposite the room, sometimes noisy neighbors.Price/performance ratio is totally unreasonable, I paid EUR 150 per night but for the Medusa more than EUR 80-90 per night is definitely exaggerated!
