Stayed at the Hotel Wagner for 1 night on a business trip. So I can't rate the restaurant.I was accommodated in a neighboring house. The room was clean, but very small and furnished with old furniture. The room and the entire house are very noisy. So the night was over early as the first fitters left the house.The breakfast in the morning was again good and plentiful, with everything you need for a good start. In addition, the employee who provided the service was very friendly. Upon request, fresh scrambled eggs were prepared without any problems.Because of the good breakfast selection and the nice service, I give it 3 stars, otherwise it would have only been 2.In any case, I wouldn't come here again for an overnight stay.

⭐ 1 starWe wanted to spend a nice evening at the Wagner restaurant in Untergriesbach at 7:15 p.m. The restaurant was almost empty, with only one table of five people occupied. The terrace is nicely decorated and we were looking forward to the food. Unfortunately, a waitress came to meet us and told us without further explanation that the restaurant was about to close and we could no longer be served. We were very disappointed and went home without having achieved anything. Unfortunately, this experience left us very disappointed as we had been looking forward to a pleasant evening.

We booked a double room well in advance of our overnight stay. The date of the overnight stay and also the double room at a fair price were confirmed to us by email. When we arrived we were succinctly informed that the confirmed price was not correct and that we would have to pay €35.00 more. Since we were part of a group and it was already evening, we unfortunately couldn't cancel the room.The food was decent, as was the service.About the room: we were lucky enough to get a relatively large room in the building next door. But for several others in the group it was completely different! The rooms are relatively small. It didn't matter whether you were staying in the main house or the side house. The cleanliness of the rooms was positive throughout. However, the rooms are all very noisy.What can happen: if larger catering is required, there will be no service in the restaurant for hotel guests either.Conclusion: Mistakes (price promised) can happen and are human, but should then be borne by the hotel and not be completely at the guest's expense. But what is very annoying is the error management. Why does the guest have to cover the difference entirely alone? No compromise on price. They could have at least offered to share the 35 euros, or a “small apology” in the form of a free drink!We're definitely not coming back.

The rooms are clean and good. However, you shouldn't expect a modern room.To the restaurant. Here you will be turned away pretty forcefully if you don't have a reservation and the staff are a bit stressed. It feels like you have to apologize for having the audacity to ask for a place for two.

The food was great, portions as it should be, priced OK.What is absolutely not possible are the toilets. These are small and winding, making it impossible to provide assistance to anyone (adult, disabled or elderly). There is no separate disabled toilet on the ground floor anyway. Unfortunately, this is very retrograde and should have been retrofitted long ago given the age of this inn, something like that has to be noticeable...In this condition, we can no longer hold our family celebrations there, which is a shame, because otherwise everything was fine.

Very good food, very friendly service. The food comes quickly. We have always been satisfied so far.However, unfortunately I have to deduct a star. There are no disabled or wheelchair accessible toilets. We had to end our little family celebration quickly because my mother (in a wheelchair) urgently needed to. Even the toilet on offer, which can be reached at ground level, is far too narrow and far too winding to reach. In this day and age, a restaurant of this size and with a hotel should have a disabled or wheelchair-accessible toilet.Unfortunately, we will have to celebrate our family celebrations somewhere else in the future.
