Hotel is probably for youth groups or something - but a bad choice for business travelers as it is very loud and noisy, offers no breakfast and poor WiFi.Location is good

Friendly staff, good location, parking relatively cheap, good restaurant nearby. However, cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The baby bed we had booked was so dirty that we were happy to have packed our own in the car just to be on the safe side. That really doesn't work. If certain "stains" no longer come out, you should consider buying a new one at some point, these things really aren't expensive! I've been to many hostels around the world, and of course I've experienced much worse, but at a much lower price. It's just too expensive for what's on offer.

This is certainly suitable as a base for a low budget city trip. It is not expensive, location is perfect compared to the center.Our experience was that there were a lot of young people. Who went to bed late and noisy.We used the location as a stopover. So take all luggage out of the car. That's quite a job, there is no elevator and the entrance is on the 1st floor.The rooms are clean...... but very dated. So it is not always visible whether it is a stain or damageThe shower head had come off the hose and could not be recovered. So shower with the hose in your hand. There is no 24 hour reception so there was no solution.It was a great summer, but unfortunately there is no air conditioning. The entire room is furnished with cheap self-built furniture.It was a short and damp night on a cheap bed, a lot of lugging around and a shower in a dingy bathroom with a loose hose.In short, it is really nothing more than a budget hostel! The photos are not representative.Really not suitable as a stopover unless you travel with just a backpack and expect little luxury.

Ideal, practical accommodation. Price-performance is right. Nice reception. Rooms are pleasant and clean. You can get to the city center on foot. Train station very close.

Only if you are going to use it to sleep. They don't even give you sheets: just the mattress cover, a duvet and a pillow so soft that it's worthless.It is 10 min. walking distance from the historic center (that is, well located if you want to visit that area).

Many of the other reviews are negative, but the room was clean and the bed was average. It's not bad. Worth the price.I think this is what a guest house is all about.Reserve underground parking in advance for 8€. You need to get a key from the reception to open it.

I loved this place! Best hostel I ever stayed in. Really nice room, and I loved the common kitchen facilities. They even had freshly cut flowers in the kitchen/dining room area! The staff was also very helpful, they immediately fixed a bathroom problem. I can only recommend it!

StayInn Freiburg, Stühlingerstrasse 24aFirst the positive points.The journey was unproblematic and thanks to the underground parking space booked, the car (for around €8 per day) was also in good and affordable hands.The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.The house itself is in a quiet location and is really pleasant when it comes to street noise.There is a well-equipped communal kitchen and a lounge, which also offers a coffee machine. (e.g. coffee with milk €2)The location is great, you can reach the old town in just under 10 minutes on foot.But there are also negative points:The house does not have an elevator, so it is only partially suitable for people with a lot of luggage or heavy luggage or for people with physical limitations.Since the house is probably frequently visited by younger adults and groups, it is very noisy, especially in the evenings. This is also because the connecting doors to the kitchen or the individual floors close very loudly. In addition, the walls are very noisy, so whether you want to or not, you participate in the lives of the other guests.But I found our room the worst. Unfortunately it wasn't clean and everything seemed dingy and outdated.Stains on the mattress, on the curtains, dirt on the walls, mold in the bathroom, the shower rod came loose on the holder when adjusting the shower head, etc.There were bullet holes from I-don't-know-what on the apartment door.The antenna socket was hanging on the wall at half past seven, and a light bulb was missing from the ceiling lamp.The refrigerator was from the 90s and, thanks to the badly icy freezer compartment, was probably energy efficient.There was a screw sticking out on the loft bed and the ladder to the top bed was installed improperly and wobbled.My conclusion: Only really okay for a short city trip to Freiburg if you are prepared to compromise on cleanliness.I would like the operators not to dismiss this review as unjustified criticism, but rather as an opportunity to eliminate the deficiencies and make the room inviting, clean and homely again.

The beds were full of hair, screws and brackets were hanging by a thread.I didn't watch the rest.The request for a free refund was rejected with a quick release of pressure and then wanting your money back. We don't need to discuss.No more words are needed to describe this establishment.
