Once and not again! Very old. The room was clean and the staff was friendly at check-in. But that's it with plus points.Broken curtains, broken lamps, old, leaky windows, old-fashioned furniture, uncomfortable, old beds. There is mold in the tub/shower in the bathroom. The room wasn't worth the money!!All in all, unfortunately very carelessly designed. The breakfast room was also totally uncomfortable and loveless. Bare tables, squeezed tightly. It echoes like a gymnasium. Every station café has more charm. And the breakfast was mediocre at best. Seems somehow improvised! It's actually a shame.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, and above all, an excellent young man at the reception. Although we were supposed to arrive by 7:00 p.m., we asked by phone if we could arrive until 9:00 p.m. and there was no problem at all. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but the young man at the reception directed us to a bakery and cafe across the road, where we had a royal meal for a significantly lower price than breakfasts in hotels. The only annoying thing is the air conditioner in the room, which is mobile and therefore very loud. If they arrange built-in air conditioners, the rooms will also deserve a few more stars.

Great hotel for overnight stays 👍🏼👍🏼 the restaurant does not yet belong to the hotel owner, as most people do not know. The owner is working on including the restaurant in the hotel. This is separate from the hotel. The rooms are great! the beds are very good! And the hotel rooms are maintained daily... highly recommended for families who want to go to Europark. About 30 minutes by car from the hotel. Highly recommended 👌👌👍🏼👍🏼

This establishment exhibited discriminatory behavior during my visit. Despite having made a reservation, I was denied accommodation based on racial prejudice. The staff made disparaging remarks about my skin color and deemed me 'suspicious,' perpetuating harmful stereotypes. I advise people of color to exercise caution when considering this venue. Furthermore, I urge locals to carefully evaluate whether to support an establishment that condones such discriminatory practices

I am referring to the main hotel (Alte Bahnhofstr. 6). Apparently the reviews of the Schwanen Hotel have also been mixed in here since the change of ownership.The hotel is fine for one night. It's just a bit old, even though it was superficially renovated (blue paint, expansion of the garage). I always had a double room, which is very large and comfortable. There is even a kettle in the room, which is unfortunately rare. The location is very good, you can quickly walk to the city center and there is a Rewe directly opposite. What I don't like is the very small and narrow parking lot, which is easy to miss the first time. Next to the bed is an old, built-in dresser radio that hums loudly even when it's turned off and also seems to be allergic to cell phones. The breakfast is very clear, and the buffet is quite carelessly designed. For a total price of over €100, there is something better. I actually only stay here when there are no better, free hotels in Lahr.

The bathroom wasn't clean (the soap tubes used by the previous hotel guests were still in/on the shower! The toilet wasn't clean! There was hair on the bed! The shower tray wobbles and creaks - you're afraid of it!!The air conditioning, which was held together with adhesive tape (and because it smelled, was no longer in operation) was very, very loud. The room itself was stuffy and not ventilated. The bed is so uncomfortable. The street noise is loud! As far as I can see, the room hasn't been entered for a while - neither by guests nor by staff.Breakfast was so-so. Rolls are okay, the rest is not! So it would have been better to sleep with your head on the bar in a pub than in this hotel! I'm not picky but for the price of 127 euros per night that's outrageous.

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in (and I travel to hotels almost every month). The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes/cigars. Neither room nor bathroom were clean (and I'm really not picky). The furniture is not only old, it's as old as stone - that's not possible, and no new TV will save it... If I had a choice, I would have preferred to drive the long way home to avoid spending the night here. The street noise was unbearable. Never again.

The sat nav navigated me past the easy-to-miss entrance twice and my first impression when I looked into the small parking lot was: "Oh, dear God." - The hotel is getting old, but that's why it's nice Charm. The man at reception was very nice and cleared out the in-house wallbox for my electric car. Yes, you can charge overnight here for free!! The room was very spacious, but the bed was unfortunately very small (I'm 2 meters tall). Whatever, 5 stars.
