We always enjoy being guests here on vacation. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is very well maintained. The food is super tasty and is prepared fresh and quickly. Pleasant waiting times. Reasonable prices. And a great selection for young and old. From good bourgeois to burgers, everything is there. And we love the super pleasant male service. Always there, always a good recommendation and always a quick comment on your lips.We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

Large rooms but not up to date! But very good staff and accommodating! The dark hallway to the rooms should be more lit!! The bathrooms are still from the 80s/90s but very clean! …

I stayed at the Ochsen for 2 nights, the rooms are functionally furnished. The mattresses are very comfortable, I have 2 BSV and was able to sleep really well. The inn is highly recommended, the staff is friendly, the portions are large and tasty. I only ordered a side salad, I have to say... AWESOME, huge and tasty and for 5.90 euros. For dessert I ordered 3 scoops of ice cream, they were Bollen 🤣🤣 so big, brilliant.

Very nice staff, the rooms are rustic, just as you would expect from the Black Forest. The breakfast was completely sufficient, you had everything you need for a good breakfast. What we liked about the hotel is that it is right on the market square and that it has its own restaurant. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty. The location was quiet, you could sleep well, and the connection was okay too.In short, if you don't need luxury, this hotel is in good hands

We have also eaten at the “Zum Ochsen” inn several times. We were always treated very friendly and the quality of the food was really good and varied. The atmosphere is very cozy and just fits into the Scharzwald. Always decorated according to the season. The only small point of criticism I have: As the owner, I would invest a few euros and put nice salt and pepper mills made of stainless steel or wood instead of plastic mills from a supermarket's own brand.....Nevertheless, we would love to come back.
