Upon arrival, the restaurant turned out to be closed, but the hostess provided us with sandwiches and toppings, too many for us to eat.Great hotel and a good breakfast.

By far the best hotel we stayed in on this 10 day holiday in Germany.For those traveling along the Westweg, the hotel is located about 1.5 km away in a valley that slopes steeply down.The rooms are very nice and basic, the food is excellent.Furthermore, those who work at the hotel proved to be super helpful in giving us a lift to the crossroads above the valley, the point where one stage of the Westweg ends and a new one begins.Thank you so much for the kindness you have shown us.

We booked a cheap room through booking.com and got a cheap one, with everything you needed!The location was okay for us, especially because Cedric, the boss, took us back to our stage on the west path up the mountain the next day. Thank you, dear “Parisian” - best Cedric ever!Food was very tasty and the prices were totally okay.We had a nice evening, first on the terrace and later in the restaurant. Happy to come back!A little tip on the side: make the breakfast egg grade 0 (organic) and not grade 2 - keep it up!Greetings to the Ukrainian service staff: keep it up - good work!

Me and my fiancé spent a night there on our trip to Italy. Overall my experience from this hotel was great.We made sure to go there a bit around 17:00 so there was still some daylight in which we could take a small walk around the village. The views were amazing.After that we had dinner in the restaurant. The food was pretty good, filling and not too expensive. Only thing is that Service here has 4 stars as the menu was only in German, but the hosts were welcoming and very friendly.In the morning we had breakfast which was good, but nothing too special, it is the regular hotel breakfast you would get in most hotels.Overall, my experience in this hotel was pretty good and I would highly recommend it.However if you’re looking for luxury this is obviously not the place for you. Everything is very nice, but not luxurious.

The green mountains and green waters are like a fairyland, and the dense forests are a great place.While wandering around the country inn, the smoke from the cooking pots filled my nostrils.

The food is very tasty and also easy on the wallet. So it's good value for money.We got a tour of the hotel, so I can't say anything about the rooms.They were nicely decorated and welcoming.Another highlight for me is that they offer cocktails.We'd love to come back

I unfortunately didn’t get any photos but had to leave a review because it was the best sleep I ever had in a hotel anywhere. The room was in an older charming style, very unassuming and not fancy. But clean and quiet with an incredibly comfortable bed. I slept so well, that I didn’t want to leave the next morning.I hope this hotel doesn’t close down. It’s a hidden gem and I recommend anyone to stay there.Minus one star because I didn’t really like the carpet - but the hotel operators should not be punished for that - they are simply renting the space and the buildings owner refuses to update.

Very friendly host.The location is not ideal for the Westweg, but thanks to the friendly host we got back to our starting point by car the next day :-)Very tasty food.

We were traveling on the Westweg, so we had to walk about 2 km into the valley to Wieden (which the hotel can't do anything about):).The stay was very nice, as was the tenant. Dinner with rump steak was great, price/performance worked out. Breakfast was OK too.The tenant then drove us up to the path in the morning. Very nice!!!
