I was accommodated in a room in the Ochsen for about 3 weeks to move and relax. It was beautifully designed in a wooden style. The room is inexpensive and breakfast can be booked if required for a small additional charge. The supermarket is right around the corner, and if you're hungry there's a restaurant downstairs.Above all, I had what I needed here: peace and relaxation. The walks in the fresh air in the wooded surroundings were particularly good for me.Friendly staff and all in all can only be recommended.

I can only rate the food.I made a reservation for two at short notice.The food was good, but the service was a bit chaotic. The service was two people, but food and drinks were a long time coming. Complaints (soup was a bit spicy) were noted. When greeting us from the kitchen there were 3 slices of bread for 2 people, the table next door had at least 4 for 2 people.The sauces were delicious, but the service staff should know the menu a bit.

We were only at the restaurant for dinner. We loved the table setting. The service was very nice and competent. The food is delicious and the portions are very large. We will come back here if we have the opportunity.

The Ochsen is a rustic inn and very stylishly furnished. We had dinner there with the family on Sunday. The food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was good. The service was very friendly and attentive. I didn't give the full number of stars because: I deducted half a star because some of the tablecloths were dirty. The Kaiserschmarn was a finished product. Unfortunately the cognac sauce and the bearnaise were only passable! But the Chateaubriand was heavenly! Dear ox team, all in all it was a nice evening.

Once OK - once FLOP, and what.We went to the Ochsen for lunch two Fridays in a row. Both times we chose the same menus. This time the Jägerschnitzel was breaded under the Championsause! And pretty tough. Nobody was interested. It's a shame. The menu promised so much. Maybe it was because we were the only guests?

We were here for the first time and were very satisfied. The service is super accommodating, you are welcomed with sparkling wine right from the start. They are very quick, friendly and with heart.The food was home-style, very tasty and there were very large portions.We will be back definitely!!

We only had lunch in the restaurant. We sat in the cozy, bright winter garden. There is also a large sun terrace. Very friendly service. We were greeted with 1 glass of sparkling wine. 😀 We really enjoyed the veal Wienerschnitzel! We'd love to come back.

We had a meal here with 10 people and were very pleasantly surprised. The service is great. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and more than friendly staff who were very attentive.The orders were processed very quickly, the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. We'd love to come back.

The two of us ate a very tasty and rich Chateaubriand.Older inn in town with guest rooms (which we cannot rate) and very good cuisine.Friendly, attentive service. Lots of tables in the winter garden too.Large selection of dishes where everyone should find something to suit them.Price-performance fits perfectly.We were given a glass of champagne and a greeting from the kitchen beforehand. The salads are fresh and with good dressing. The wild garlic dressing (seasonal) is particularly worth recommending.Our Chateaubriand was very tender, tasty and cooked to our liking. Two delicious sauces round the whole thing off. It was served to us in two batches so that it could always be eaten hot. The fillet was personally cut and served at the table by the chef. Top.The whole thing was rounded off with an espresso on the house. Everything was perfect there. Only the dining room and winter garden were a bit fresh after a drop in temperature.We will definitely be back and hope that more guests will appreciate the good food. When we were guests on Sunday evening, there were few guests. Maybe it was also due to the short onset of winter again.
